I used to love the dirty chai here, but today was probably the last time I’ll visit. There’s so many other places I can go that won’t cost $16 for a lukewarm iced dirty chai with melted ice and a cold brownie. Why even ask me if I wanted the brownie to go and warmed up? You didn’t do either? I know the straight-faced baristas probably had a long day of work, but so did I and thats why I stopped here for a treat. Even when I have come on weekday mornings, there is no sense of urgency from the staff. I wish I could keep coming back to get the chai, but it’s just not worth the gamble of bad service and prices.

I like this place so much that I'm going to verbatim post the review that the employees here suggested because I think it's accurate: the baristas are awesome, especially the ones with the colored hair. Service is always so wonderful. They do, however, need to get a hook in the bathroom to hang a jacket. And maybe do a better job keeping the paper towels topped off. Love you guys.

2/19/2026: I ordered a lavender matcha latte which was lacking in quality. I also inquired about a large happy hour sign situated outside the shop stating it ended at 6pm. I was at the shop a little after four and the answer I received was that it's an old promotion when the store used to close at five. The service was subpar along with the environment.

I stopped by briefly for the bathroom and a coffee. Always searching for new spots to try around Atlanta. The staff was very relaxed and attentive. The bathroom was very clean, the menu was extensive! There is quite a variety of snacking foods, pies, cakes etc. And if I'm not mistaken, almost everything is organic.
The prices are a tad steep, my large Kona Mocha frappe without add-ons was $11. BUT. oh. Oh my. What an incredible drink. Only two shots of espresso, but it is VERY prominent. It's very sweet, but not milkshake sweet, although it was almost milkshake consistency.
The whipped cream was quite interesting. I loved it, but I have never had whipped cream that tastes like that. It almost tasted like.. coconut milk icecream. Sweet, not dairy tasting at all. consistency is rather dense, and sticks well to the straw (which I use as a spoon to pull out chunks of the whipped cream to eat!)b
Overall super satisfied, can't wait to go back. In passing I mentioned to the barrista about a dark chocolate orange coffee I'd had a while back, and she seemed so taken on it, she said that she would immediately be working to get that on the menu. For those suspicious, if it makes it to the menu, it's a must try. There's nothing quite like it!

I walked in and was told by an older, tall woman with dark hair that it would be a few minutes because she needed to finish some to-go orders. Shortly after, a very pleasant young woman with a blunt haircut greeted me and took care of my order.
However, I couldn’t help but notice that when the next customer came in, the older woman immediately stopped working on the to-go orders to greet and assist her with, “Hello, what can I get for you?” This interaction felt noticeably different from my experience.
In the world we live in today, moments like this are important to be mindful of. As a customer, I felt uncomfortable and ultimately turned off, and because of that, I won’t be returning.
I’ve been coming here for coffee for over three years, own a business in the area, and the dirty chai has always been a favorite. Unfortunately, today it wasn’t very good, and paired with the experience, it left a disappointing impression.

I visited ChocoLaté Coffee while passing through town and had an overall mixed experience. The service was okay and the atmosphere was fine, but neither really stood out. Unfortunately, the prices felt far too high for the quality offered. I was especially disappointed with the coffee. I paid around $6–$7 for a small cup, and it simply wasn’t good. I didn’t even finish it, which is very unusual for me. I ended up throwing it out. For that price point, I expected much better. This might work for others, but based on my experience, it wasn’t worth the cost.

This is my #1 coffee shop in Decatur. I have loved since my first visit which was almost two years ago. I come here very often. The hot drinks are my go. Chai Lattes are always yummy. I got mine extra spiced and they make it so perfectly 😍 Desserts are so so good. My weakness is their Tiramisu 🤤 Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere is clean, music plays softly in the background.
