TRIM FAT FROM OXTAIL!!!!! UGH! Absolutely terrible waste of money. FATTIEST and TOUGHEST oxtail I’ve ever had that also had a sweet bbq type of sauce with sesame seeds on them?? Ive NEVER seen oxtail prepared this way. I wouldn’t have hated them so bad if they were tender and not filled with more fat than meat. The Mac and mash were also terrible. The only okay item from my order was the broccolini.

This place represents a lofty idea gone wrong. 70% percent of the stores listed on the machine that you have to order from say "closed." The most popular menu item that Yelpers have written about says "unavailable." The backup item says "unavailable." It appears they may be just doing catering behind the locked doors and serve the occasional person who walks in to the small foyer to order IF they have anything left. Today, there was nothing of import left to order. We won't be back.

Ordered through uber eats. It is delicious. I love the mac and cheese with Oxtails. Like I could eat it all day. I love the collard greens as well. A bit sweet but really good. The banana pudding is Awesomesauce. I will have to come visit!

I ordered delivery on impulse and now I'm in love and have ordered 3 times. The oxtail mac and cheese can't be beat. The soul food egg rolls are incredible and generous portions. And, the banana pudding is no joke some of the best banana pudding I've had in my life. I was shook. I don't eat out a lot but I am going to have to come here in person because this is just so good???!~

They had me drive out to them after I was told they were open and had oxtail. Made the order online after I spoke with Danny on the phone .When I got there they told me they were closed and also said they had no oxtail lol.Very unprofessional.

The food is delicious . Btw, Uber eats offers a buy 1 entree get 1 free special. The orange chicken confit was sweet and savory and the short rib bao buns were soft and full of flavor. The broccolini was perfectly seasoned and the mashed potatoes tasted like a fully loaded potato minus the .
I called at 8pm to ask if they still had oxtail and if I had enough time to make a pick up order. I was told that the item was still on the menu and that they didn't close until 9. You can't make a pick up order through the phone. Never heard that before but cool..So I Order online at 8:04 got there 8:40 and was greeted by iPads. I put my name in and couldn't find the order so I ask the gentleman behind the counter for help. When he told me that they were closed I asked who I was on the phone with. He said it was Danny. After he told me that Danny said they were closed, Danny emails me saying they canceled my order(still charged me)because they ran out of the oxtail lol. Someone's lying. I just wanted to support them and they respond by lying to me lol and wasting an hour of my time. The man behind the counter said if I called back the next day they'll make sure I get a refund lol I shouldn't have to do that but cool..Refunding the order doesn't change the fact that they still wasted my time, lied and left me hanging. Chef Dan just said "hope to see you soon" in the email. This was the worst and most complicated experience I had going out to pick up something to eat. Wish them the best but I think they're new to this restaurant thing.

I was so disappointed with taste and potion of my food. I ordered the veggie plate which comes with 4 items. I chose the broccolini, rice, collard greens and mac & cheese. The greens were over seasoned and coated in a sweet sauce, the mac & cheese was creamy but taste burnt and had a bit of a kick to it, the broccolini was oily and over cooked. The only edible item was the rice. Honestly I wanted to return to the spot to request a refund. On my way home I had to stop at Chipotle to grab a bite to eat.

WOW!!!!!! The flavors are so intense and bold!!! It’s like a CELEBRATION ? in every bite you take!!! True Comfort food. Will definitely have you closing your eyes and dancing with every bite! I had the Orange Chicken Confit, Ox Tail Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, and Banana Pudding!!!
