Anyone looking to do experience something different, this is the place! The drinks and hospitality was great! Food is allowed
IDC is a humble distillery but their products are anything but. Rum, whiskey, and gin in various iterations, all handmade in an old car garage, IDC easily has the best value in cocktails anywhere, from fresh pressed cane juice à la minute to hand slapped herbs. Michael, master distiller and Casey, mixologist extraordinaire, are almost always on site when open to chat and even provide tours.
We enjoyed our time here. Though we came for trivia and no trivia was had, we enjoyed our drinks and played some games! We would go back!
My husband Eric and I had a fantastic experience at Independent Distilling Company! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Casy and his “brother from another mother.” They were not only knowledgeable but incredibly personable, making the entire visit both educational and enjoyable.
Casy walked us through the distilling process with such passion and clarity that we left feeling enlightened and with a newfound appreciation for the craft. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their spirits and the way they engage with guests.
We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend Independent Distilling Company to anyone looking for a memorable, down-to-earth, and informative experience. Thank you, Casy, for making our visit one to remember!
Small-batch spirits with big flavor. The rum is a standout!
Hidden Gem!! The area is a bit rough but the drinks are worth it! Cocktails are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the 'I'm more of a Kung-Fu Guy'! They sell their homemade syrups, tiki glassware and liquor bottles to-go. Fun tiki atmosphere however the furniture could use a bit updating, especially the couch. They also have games available to enjoy. The space was clean and staff was friendly/attentive even when it was busy with only one person behind the bar.
The guy who probably isn't David Cross was very knowledgeable and great in terms of service. The gin was surprisingly good. The whisky options weren't uncomfortable neat and the rum was good in a mixed drink. I wandered up during hours a place wouldn't be busy so the vibe was immaculate for me. Would recommend. Will be back when I'm in the area.
Try to stop by at about 3:15. Google says they are open at 3. Place was closed. Tried checking their socials. Nothing there. Couple other people showed up and tried to go in too.
Figured they might just be late opening so we went across the street to the 3 taverns brewery, and tried calling 20 mins later to see if they had opened up. Someone answered, but then hung up, so we gave up on trying to go.
I passed by this place about a million times before a friend told me to check it out. Wow. I love it. The drinks are 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Since it’s a distillery, you get high quality alcohol in your cocktail - matter of fact, we bought 2 bottles while we were there as gifts for some friends.
We went to salsa night (every 3rd Saturday). And it’s so fun! The salsa lessons are free and really good. (I was surprised at how fast I picked up the steps).
There was a pop up for some fresh, delicious empanadas since we were there on salsa night. (I think they have other pop up vendors there depending on the night.)
All in all, highly recommend. This is going in our date night rotation 💃🏾❤️💗
The best tasting experience Adam was awesome! Very knowledgeable! The tour starts at 5 on Saturdays! They have a garden outside , very nice calm cool vibes! We will definitely be back! He was knowledgeable! Explained the rum, the brandy! The corn brandy was so good! I will definitely be back! It’s a must! Parking was free! The space was comfortable and home like!

Good mixed cocktails. Good service, but be prepared to pay Midtown prices. Overall a good experience.
Hidden gem, creative and reasonably priced drinks for the quality, parking lot right next door, definitely recommend. A radish flavored cocktail? Sure!
The cocktails and spirits are incredibly well done. Really nice comfortable setting as well. Well worth your money and time.
Cozy outdoor area, knowledgeable & friendly bartenders, and an eclectic cocktail menu all at a great price point — lovely evening! Highly recommend.
Love the place, drinks and the staff. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful outdoor to chill with friends. I love their Old Fashioned.
