Ordered through Uber Eats received either old or overly cooked almost burnt rubbery shrimp. I eat here all the time sometimes 3x's a week i wouldn't have walked out with no food looking like this old rubber shrimp. Thank you for having me pay double the price and couldn't eat the one plate I got. It's only a problem through the app. The last time I sucked it up because I always get good food from here when I go inside. But idk if they don't care about the ppl in this app because we not having to say anything to their face but if I had a ride I would bring this garbage back. 25$ for 1 20pc old burnt rubbery shrimp.

I called a to go order in today and the black girl that took my order was very impatient over the phone. Then, had my order wrong when I got there and tried to argue w me about what I said over the phone and I told her well maybe if you wasn’t rushing me off the phone you would have understood. She was very rude for no reason. She was brown skin w. I think braids in her head or twist, this was earlier in the day around 5pm. She shouldn’t interact w. customers.. she needs to be a cook in the back w. that nasty attitude.

I ordered the fish, oyster, and okra dinner plate from JJs, and it was nothing short of delicious. The fish was fried perfectly—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, with just the right seasoning that didn’t overpower the natural flavor. The fried okra was a standout too—lightly battered, crunchy, and not greasy, which is hard to come by.
