They offer a variety of sweeteners including cane sugar, honey, white sugar, Stevia and simple syrup. Unlike nearby PERC that the only sweeteners they offer are Splenda and simple syrup!!!

Oakview is tied with Waller’s for best coffee shop in Decatur. Excellent hot mochas (not too sweet, ideal fall drink). I’m not much a coffee drinker getter except when I’m trying to get a lot of work done, but it seems to me that the medium-sized cups are larger than average. It’s definitely a well-loved neighborhood spot. Haven’t tried the food but the bagels look pretty good.

Nice neighborhood spot. Lots of seating. Friendly service. Consistent flow of people on Saturday morning so be prepared to wait. Various pastries - muffins, croissants, scones, quiche. Very tasty. Vibe is casual, artsy, pleasant. From customers to staff, even when the wait and line got long, people were still pleasant and courteous. I didn't try the wifi but the password was readily shared on cards on the tables. Parking is limited but there are a handful of spaces directly in front of the building if you're lucky to grab one. I would recommend this spot for a meetup with a friend or small group or even remote working or coworking.

Situated in the perfect corner of it all, it is clear to see that Oakview has brought the community together. This enormous coffee shop sits multiple tiers above a simple walk-in/walk-out café, for this venue had a line of community members out the door from the moment I walked in. Inside, there were parents doing homework at the tables with their kids, people catching up over books, and a few others working on their laptops. Not to mention, Harmony Park and the Oakhurst Farmer’s Market (on Saturdays) are across the street as well.
The food came out quickly after I ordered, and the employees were so kind and coordinated in their efforts. The Almond Croissant had a lovely amount of marzipan inside with great textural contrasts among the rich pastry, almond topping, and marzipan filling.
Overall, I love this place. What’s not to like, knowing you’ll get objectively good food paired with such a beautiful experience? This comforting locale truly is a brightest star near the heart of Atlanta.

The coffee i got was $10 and the wifi doesn't work. Like seriously, $10? Oh and I got the small one.
I want to love this place so much, as it's my local coffee shop, but it has incredibly weak WiFi. I have to stop going there because no matter where I sit I cannot get service. It's sad. Maybe overloaded? I just cannot get work done here, no matter how hard I try.

This place has some big pluses: great location, relaxed interior, happy vibe among the customers. But it has one huge negative: the management treats its staff terribly, and as a consequence there is huge turnover with the staff. It's a shame, because a lot of the young people who have worked their are friendly and positive people. But the management seems to think its entitled to walk over them because they are young. Until Oakview Coffee is under better management, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
