They offer a variety of sweeteners including cane sugar, honey, white sugar, Stevia and simple syrup. Unlike nearby PERC that the only sweeteners they offer are Splenda and simple syrup!!!
Oakview is tied with Waller’s for best coffee shop in Decatur. Excellent hot mochas (not too sweet, ideal fall drink). I’m not much a coffee drinker getter except when I’m trying to get a lot of work done, but it seems to me that the medium-sized cups are larger than average. It’s definitely a well-loved neighborhood spot. Haven’t tried the food but the bagels look pretty good.
Nice neighborhood spot. Lots of seating. Friendly service. Consistent flow of people on Saturday morning so be prepared to wait. Various pastries - muffins, croissants, scones, quiche. Very tasty. Vibe is casual, artsy, pleasant. From customers to staff, even when the wait and line got long, people were still pleasant and courteous. I didn't try the wifi but the password was readily shared on cards on the tables. Parking is limited but there are a handful of spaces directly...
