Food was amazing. Had the crispy pork belly, fried brussel sprouts, sticky spare ribs as apps. Had the hanger steak as main course. All were fabulous. The only complaint was our server, Salem, who despite other reviews here was not the best. My wife didn't like his attitude when she asked about cocktails (his first suggestion was a a margarita). She ended up just getting a beer. Then, he forgot to place our drink order, then couldn't remember what we even ordered when...
Great place for a little special lunch. Dinners are exquisite but probably limited to special occasions, a lunch can give you an opportunity to experiance this great restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere are first class. We had lunch here and had a cheese board to share and entree.
If Kindred were a person, it would be that neighbor who insists you take their flower bulbs home and tells you about their knee replacement in the same breath—comforting, slightly eccentric, and oddly inspiring. The cheese board arrived like a dairy amusement park: fried cheese that literally squeaked at me, which I took as a sign it was either very fresh or trying to escape. The beet terrine looked like a stained-glass window from a church where the sermons are all about root...
