Awesome spot.....food was great. The atmosphere was very homie

Ordered pick up, got there at time of pick up and “kitchen backed up” so food hadn’t even been started yet and bunch of people waiting. There are too many other good options in ATL especially on the same block.

Great tasting pizza all the time. I normally do carryout and rarely have much of a wait. Appreciate I can call it in unlike some places that make you use an app.

TL:DR: mistakes happen, but a restaurant should make it right. Don't pre pay!

Update: I got an automated apology email and offered it offered me a boilerplate $25off coupon for my next visit. Note: I paid $70 and waited an hour for inedible half-cooked garbage! lol. They must need the $ more than I do.

I arrived to pickup my pizza 10 mins early, at 615. Was told it would be ready in time. Noticed numerous issues with other pickups - delays, but by 10-15 mins max. After 20 mins, I asked where the food was and it was clear they’d forgotten. Then they had to “remake it so it was fresh”, and it had “5 mins left to cook!”. After another 15 mins, they apparently had to start over again. By that time I’d been there around 40 mins. People who’d come in to eat after I arrived were wrapping up and paying their checks. Then around an hour in, the GM came to tell me he’d “take care of me next time”, but that was all he could do since we pre-paid.

Another 10 or so minutes and they came out to let me inspect my pizzas which looked mediocre but i had to take and go. In the endI pulled out and left at 717 - so it took me over an hour to get a couple Pizzas that were supposed to be ready when I arrived. Gets better…

Upon arriving home one was cold/had been sitting throughout the debacle, and the other was less than half baked. It took another 15 minutes in the oven at 375 to be crisp enough to lift. The picture I’m sharing is what happened to one of the pieces we tried to get on a plate. Like raw dough. Our meat balls were honestly disgusting too. Looks like a bowl of…well, you can see…

Something’s been off at this place for a long time, but tonight there must’ve been 25-30 people working (really), and most seemed completely out to lunch. All friendly, just out of it.

The fact that the GM didn’t come back and say “hey, thanks for the patience! We’ve refunded your money. Sorry for the hassle!” is so screwy it’s hard to imagine. But I’m not the guy who’s going to scream at staff, or the manager for that matter. Wondering if they’ll attempt to resolve this after the fact, but you can’t charge $70 for two pizzas unless you have your ish together.

Returned after the renovation only to be disappointed.
My pizza tasted like something from a box. My peppers and onions tastes fresh cut but the dough wasn’t good. I know they used frozen dough from the warehouse but this dough was different. Cheese tasted cheap and not the same quality as before.
They also took the merry prankster pizza off the menu.
I paid $21.00 (tip included) for a four slice personal pan pizza that I didn’t enjoy.
I won’t be returning. Will try glide on the corner a try.

I was a regular at this location before it closed, so I was excited to visit now that it has reopened. The remodel looks great! The space feels more open, and I really love the colors and updated design.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the anticipation. When my family and I arrived, there were only a few other parties inside, yet it still took close to 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. The pizzas were just average, and overall the vibe felt off. At times, it almost seemed like our presence was an inconvenience rather than welcomed.
I’m a big fan of Mellow Mushroom, which made this especially disappointing. The excitement of seeing the revamped space faded pretty quickly once we were seated. I’m hopeful that as the reopening settles, the customer service and overall experience will improve, because I’d really like a reason to return in the future.

Emily treated us well and the Holy Shiitake pizza convinced me that you don’t need tomato sauce for a good pizza.

Tried the reopened Mellow and it’s still a work in progress. I’ve been a fan of Mellow in their other GA locations in the past. Our two pizzas came out late and had a 15 minute separation. The interior while updated didn’t quite have that funky style they are known for, felt more of a corporation trying to be funky. Also it’s so much brighter than any Mellow I’ve been to in the past. I’ll give this location a few months to try again and to see if they get it right. Decatur has so many top end pizza options that will make this one a challenge unless they improve.

Good food, good server.
Sadly we could not hear each other across the table.
Yes, there were a few large parties going on, but if you encourage parties then do something about sound levels.
Will be back, hoping acoustics will be addressed.

I went to this restaurant with my friend and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was very kind and took our order. We specifically asked if they had vegan options, and she confirmed that they offered a vegan pizza with vegan cheese. Based on that confirmation, we placed our order.

After waiting about 20 minutes, the manager came over to check in. We let her know we were still waiting for our food, and she explained that the kitchen was a bit busy. We were understanding and said it was fine. About 10 minutes later, the waiter returned and told us there was another delay in the kitchen. Again, we were patient and understanding.

After almost an hour of waiting, the waiter came back visibly upset, with tears in her eyes, and told us that there was actually no vegan cheese and no vegan options available at all. At that point, we had no choice but to leave the restaurant and look for another place to eat in the cold.

This situation could have been avoided if we had simply been told the truth from the beginning. Instead, we were kept waiting for nearly an hour for food that never existed. As Black customers, this experience felt extremely dismissive and disrespectful. It was frustrating, disappointing, and honestly a disgusting way to treat people.

I got my food through Uber Eats on 12-18-2025 for the first time. First time eating from this location. I had pizza from this establishment from the Tucker GA location previously with my job they purchased several pizzas for safety achievements they were warm not hot after that experience I purchased a pizza once at the time I felt it was nothing to write home about it didn't blow my socks off I didn't return. Fast forward to this location I passed by previous and it stayed packed. I found out that they had closed for renovations and recently opened up. This is night and day as far as the quality of the food and pizza from the other location. I grew up on Pizza Hut and I was kind of skeptic about this restaurant after my other experience like why do people like this so much am I missing something. I ordered The Holy Shitake Pizza Thin Crust and Garlic Parmesan Wings with Blue Cheese now I see why. They made a believer out of me! The food is delicious and the presentation is spectacular! I like mushrooms on my pizza because they taste good to me and they are good for your mood. This is a Atlanta GA staple since 1974. Pull up and check them out if you are not able place a order through Uber Eats you will not be disappointed.

Owner caused a scene that made the restaurant go quiet because I “smelled like weed” and didn’t even have the guts to address me to my face. Sent his worker to apologize to us once he realized I wasn’t gonna entertain his rude and discriminatory behavior. Won’t be back to a restaurant whose whole image is psychedelic but underneath is another white washed overpriced gentrified pizza joint. Good food tho 👍🏽
