I hate that I just discovered eating here. I sort of can’t count how many times I have visited this restaurant in the last 30 days. For me, it’s some of the best enchiladas I have ever eaten. Sometimes I put a little of their green salsa on top for an extra kick. I literally cannot wait to get paid just so I can spend part of my food allowance here. What a gem!

I was only in town for 48 hours and this place was on my list. I discovered this place pre-pandemic when I used to nanny in the neighborhood. It was always the green salsa for me! I call it the hidden gem of Decatur. If you're looking for the best salsa in town, give Mezcalito's Cantina a try. You won't be disappointed!

I wish this place were great. I really, really do. It's always busy. The outdoor seating is great and downtown Oakhurst is really a nice place, but the whole area wants for better restaurants and this Mexican food just isn't good. It just isn't. Even the margarita was bad. There are better options for Mexican not too far away.

Very unique restaurant. Found the restaurant at the last minute. Very nice decorations inside. Chips and salsa are NOT free, $3 and they come with red and Verde salsas. If you don't like spicy salsa do not order, they're spicy to most palates in my opinion, but we're great for me since I like spicy food. The chips are thick, freshly cooked, and don't get soggy after dunking into the salsa. Cocktails are priced fairly and are not too strong. I ordered a cocktail with mezcal, which is what tequila is technically. They have a nice spirit selection also. Cerviezas (beer) mostly from Mexico, but they serve other brands also. I ordered a taco special, which is your choice of two tacos from the list with black beans and rice. Rice has a green hue to it. Tacos were a great size and the rice and beans serving was good for the price of the special ($13). Dessert was your typical offerings except my waitresses choice, which was the cheesecake flan. VERY delicious and soft. I would definitely return if I was in the area! Great neighborhood eating place.Parking: Limited number of spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat sidewalk to enter the establishment.

I dine at least once a week and can’t say enough about the staff. Elizabeth, Ava, Tony, Eric and Caro..The food is fabulous as well but staff goes over and above to make guests feel welcome. Best kept secret in oakhurst!!

We went here on a pub crawl. They had a room ready for our group. The service was superior. They were able to get drinks and food to us in a timely manner. The cranberry rosemary margaritas was outstanding. I had a brisket Taco and it was very savory and filling. Thumbs up for this place.

I got a mezcal old fashioned and two tacos with rice and black beans. The black beans were among the best I’ve ever had. Tacos were very good. The cocktail was excellent. Atmosphere is very cool. Service was fantastic.
