First got into this place we waited for a good 25min just for somebody to come to the table. When somebody finally came to the table because I said something it was a host and not even a waitress. My wife started a video which prompted a waitress from another table to come over. I received my order with the smallest wings only a toddler would eat and the reason why I wanted the wings was because I seen the size of another customers. One of the waitress said that’s the only size they had which I found funny because when the manger got involved she brought out bigger wings. The spinach was real salted which at that moment I just had enough and walked out. I’m not sure what was goin on today that this place. I’m sure the people are kind but the customer service for us was just not it . Very disappointed and I don’t believe I myself will be coming back to this location.

Update: Came to dine in on a Sunday and waited for 45 minutes just to find out the are out of lobster, steak, chicken Tenders and biscuits were not ready. There must have been a change in chefs, and they need to do a better job purchasing. They know how many purple to expect after years of being open. This is inexcusable! At least tell the guests when they make the reservation that your out of certain things on the menu. The wait was twice as long as the estimated time and still no table for us.
Love the fried Lobster and grits, shrimp and grits and mimosas. Not a fan of the crab cakes, but there's enough on the menu that will peak your interest.

Everyone was so welcoming! The service fee was 14.00 and the gratuity was 18%. Breakfast for two was $100. If you are a diabetic do not order the lemonade without ordering water. But over all the cooks and managers were very attentive.

This was my first time at this specific location. The initial interaction upon entering the restaurant was piss poor. The atmosphere was not welcoming or inviting at all. This one is nothing like the other ones. It seems like a knock off . The quality of the service to begin was unwelcoming and unpleasant. I will be calling the better business bureau and the health department. The waitress was also unwelcoming and unpleasant and got defensive once I started having issues with my food. First issue was there was something black and hard in my drunk, then my food was cold, unreasonably cold for what I ordered. I said something, the waitress got defensive, got the manager, manager got defensive and argumentative, said it was nothing to be done about me not wanting the food. I didn't want the service at all. I left and left my phone and they wouldn't give me my phone and said they gave it to the police (but didn't) then I came to just pay ts and get the phone bc that wasn't the point ... And they were still all weird and extra for no reason at all. I have the full video of the customer service and everything from beginning to end . The food PRESENTATION was exceptional though.

My first visit to the restaurant. It's small inside, the table was dirty but the staff were excellent. Now let's get to the food. I ordered 3 wings, mac and cheese, and yams. I was disappointed with everything! The Mac and cheese was cold, had what seemed like bread crumbs on top, and flavor was bland. The fried chicken was cold and lacked seasoning, and yams were warm and not fresh. I want to say they were canned. I left it there, no carry our needed. The strawberry lemonade lacked strawberries, although it had a red coloring. I'm not sure what's going on there.

My experience at this location is not about the food or service. Those were great! However, the atmosphere and the area of location is not good. This location is not safe to eat at. There are constant auto thefts/burglaries at this location. Management tend to sugar coat knowing about the burglaries in fear of losing out of customers. I’d rather be in the know of knowing this spot isn’t safe than to not know and come outside to get shot out of the blue. All because none of the workers or management wants to fairly warn the customers about how dangerous this location is. I came with husband and kids to eat. Food was great and so was the service. However, on our way leaving out we were informed our SUV was broken into. Nothing was stolen but a weapon, but the thing is this if it’s known that weapons not valuables are stolen then reports should be followed through for the safety of your customers instead of saying….”This doesn’t happen often”….when Dekalb police officers and the whole Decatur is saying that this location is a bad/hot spot known for auto theft bulgaries . I am highly disappointed. Especially for this to take place in a open environment in broad daylight. You all need to do better for the safety of your customers. You all need to have officers monitor those parking lots more often, because the next auto theft may not end well. Someone could end up shot or hurt smh. So instead of dish recommendations, I recommend better security at this location.

This was a very bad experience for a first time order. My order was not ready when I got there . They told me my ticket didn’t go through after we placed the order online through DoorDash. DoorDash even said the order was ready. I paid with an Amex card. My order was $100. They made me wait 40 min because they did not receive my ticket. This order was for a corporate meeting and they would not even offer a discount. The owner was very rude and disrespectful. She gave a $1 can drink and thought this was good enough. I would not recommend this restaurant for any large online orders. The only good thing is the staff was very friendly.

We were out in the area celebrating our son’s birthday and he wanted some breakfast. This is the closet place that we could find that wasn't the waffle house. I’ll start by saying the waitress was very friendly and attentive. They had good customer service overall. However, the food was disappointing. My husband agreed that the eggs tasted like something we can’t even describe. I think they were powered eggs or something. They looked pretty, but had absolutely no taste to them. They were not seasoned or flavored at all! We left them on the table. I had a red velvet waffle that was also lack luster and I didn’t finish it. My husband eats everyone’s grits and he sent these grits back. They had a taste to them that seemed like chicken broth. It was an overall dissatisfying eating experience that left me still hungry bc I didn’t eat most of my food. We ended up spending about $140 for a very subpar meal.

I normally like their food but they know they wrong af for this trash gumbo and grits. They need to take that off the menu IMMEDIATELY. Why would you put a bag of mixed veggies and tomatoes and FRIED okra in gumbo!!!! Plus it says it has crab meat (didn’t have a lick of crab meat) and about 3 shrimp. DO NOT waste yall time on that nasty crap. Their steak & eggs and French toast are fire though!!!
The place is cute but the food did nothing for me. I had the steak and egg.

Kind of confused, because it's one way in and the same way out although they have an exit door, it's always locked. And one of the childish waitresses thought it was funny because I didn't know that the exit door was locked.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had a party of 7 which included 3 kids and service was great! The food came out hot and perfectly seasoned. My mom, who is 78 yrs old and has worked as a cook for over 55 years, loved the catfish! I myself had the shrimp and grits...soooo good. The only reason I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere is due to the stained ceiling tiles, sticky floor and dirty windows. Oh let's not forget the honey biscuits--yummy!
Parking: There was plenty of parking and although a lot of people were there, there wasn't a long wait.
Kid-friendliness: The staff was very helpful since we had 3 little ones with us.
