The seafood was not fresh. I hope I don't get sick. Others in my party were sick all night. The server was very nice, but I was terribly disappointed in the food. Pictures and reviews paint a different picture. I wish I had gone someplace else. Anywhere else.

Restaurant was empty when we arrived. Waitress was very friendly, but had to place our order several times before it took. Non alcoholic moscow mule was straight lime juice, couldn’t take another sip. Deviled eggs never came. Several baskets of chips and a tiny serving of onion dip. 30 minutes until our entrees come out and they forget our kid’s pasta… daughter’s mac n cheese was fine, the pasta special with andouille sausage and chicken was spicy but the chunks of chicken had no seasoning… the crabcake BLT fell apart with no crisp. Brussel sprouts were supposed to have a “bacon jam” but just had bits of bacon and straight balsamic vinegar poured over the top. Lastly the men’s bathroom urinal was not flushing and left me feeling sick. They all are very friendly here but nothing about this place is worth the $85 for a family dinner.

Not much to look at, but the food is amazing. The people, too (Harry!). You'd be forgiven for driving past it, as it sits between a strip plaza and a gas station. Great bar deals, too.

I wanted to write a review as I had read some that were less than glowing…. In particular one about an awful steak…. Steak isnt even on the menu. This was my third time to the restaurant, although it has been a couple years since I was last there. We went for a birthday celebration of five people, even though there was a hurricane storm coming from Florida. I have rated the restaurant five stars as you have to take it for what it is… It is an absolutely charming local restaurant. It is not on the scale of a Michelin rated restaurant, but if you want something that’s close to you in Decatur, has fabulous food, and is a darling spot, It’s the place to go. My friends got anxious about the wait time for drinks and food, but again, there was a hurricane on its way…. I think they were understaffed by one person. Most of us got the country fried steak, which was outstanding and hot ( hot, not spicy ), Another got the pork chop, which was cooked to perfection, and the pasta seafood special was great as well. I went with the Pea Rita Cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. Our server could not have been more friendly. Again, if you want a local spot with fantastic food, It is definitely a place to go.

Service was slow, dining area was dirty (at 6:30pm!). Food was mediocre at best (canned beets on salad rather than roasted, and chicken was very tough and dry). Menu is limited which would be okay but they were out of numerous items. We have tried to support this local eatery but after 5 visits, not one was completely satisfactory. We will not go back, and I would not recommend it to anyone

I used to go here often and loved it. Tonight was a very off night. Despite the fact the restaurant was not busy service was indifferent. Food was subpar and not worth what we paid for it. There was a we just mailed it in tonight vibe. Hope they turn this around as this used to be a great place.
