Ordered a cake from here - in the past, piece of cake has been so delicious! But something has changed ...... the cake was dry and crumbly. Also, the bottom of the bag they packed it in completely fell out - so we dropped the cake before the party even started.

My mother and I got cupcakes today. They taste like they were made from a box mix (Betty Crocker, etc). Extremely disappointed. I've had better quality cupcakes from Whole Foods. Not coming back.
I've been an absolute fan of this place since I moved here in 2009. Today was the first time I have ever been disappointed. I love their caramel cake and bought 2 slices but today this cake did not hit right. It was soft indeed but dry. I couldn't finish it. I simply dont recall this cake ever tasting this way, even the cake itself seemed different.

1 STAR Cake- dry, dry, dry. This place has really, really gone DOWN! They definitely changed the recipe, and now the cake bread is SOOO dry! I got a supposedly fresh cake form them and when I cut it, it was almost as if you had left the cake out for 3 days uncovered. This cake wouldn't last 3 days in a cake platter. If you want cornbread with icing on it- then this is your place!
I'm not rating service or atmosphere- because I don't EAT service or atmosphere- I eat cake. This cake is gross and DRY!

A Piece of Cake has some of the best-tasting cakeāmoist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The downside is the price: nearly $6 per slice feels steep. On top of that, customer service is terrible. On two separate visits, the staffās attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming. In some locations north of Atlanta, they do offer a military discount, but I havenāt seen the same courtesy extended at the Atlanta stores. Overall, the cake is excellent, but the poor service and high prices make it hard to recommend.

In the last month Iāve ordered 3 times. The last 2 times Iāve been missing a slice. Seems like if you order multiples of the same slice, they donāt pay attention to the quantity and just give you 1. I contacted the ācorporateā to be giving no real resolution or fix. Going back to nothing Bundt cake āš¾

Wow, what an amazing cake store. I simply walked in because of the name piece of cake. Can't get more creamer than that walking in. It was very cool. I was greeted by Stephen a very nice handsome guy with great recommendations for a sweet girlie this place deputy serves quality stuff you can tell by their icing good amounts of it as well! I sampled the Apple poundcake phenomenal. So far I've been Going to DeKalb farmers market for my desserts in their bakery however, today I cheated this place is going on my list!!

While the cake is delicious here, the service was not. The employees energy was not inviting in the least bit. I almost wanted to turn around, but I drove 20 minutes to get a slice. I was still polite to him, but please be better to your customers.
Piece of cake need to be open for the business hour posted. That is bad business. I was there at 1:45 August 12 closed.

Piece of Cake hands down my favorite. Itās as close as Iām going to get Southernās made. Especially, during a busy Monday through Friday work week. I have been getting the Red Velvet from here since 2019. I LOVE IT!

Went in and bought a strawberry cupcake. It was extremely dry and crumbling apart. This is the second time in 3 months that Iāve had a cupcake from this location and each has been dry. Iāll have to try another location and see if it makes a difference!

Historically, I was a fan of this place. The service and atmosphere is lovely. However, the cakes are super dry, the slices are cut in a sloppy manner and the flavor is no longer tastey. Unfortunately, I will no longer frequent this establishment.
