I visited Smokez because it's a neighborhood black owned business and I wanted to support. I ordered grilled chicken and it did not disappoint. Please note, the food is pricy, I paid approximately 15 dollars for 2 leg quarters. I'm glad I tried them out. The young lady at the window was a delight. She is extremely friendly. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I can't complain about anything.
Seasoned to perfection. The ribs are amazing. I asked for mine well done and they were falling off the bone. Very responsive and very respectful. Thanks I will return.
Ribes were tough sides tasted like they were prepared days in advanced and reheated waste of my $35
Great Food
My roommate and I each got their $9 special. Fried pork chops and fries, Chicken quarter, greens, and candied yams. It was delicious. Excited to go back and try more things on the menu.
The food was great . Got 2 plates of the 2 meats
Grilled plates came up to about 69$ the cook seem not welcoming
I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I waited an extra 10 minutes outside in the heat with no acknowledgment or apology. The wings and fish were very salty and fried in old grease. The Mac & Cheese almost had the consistency of pudding. The okra was good. I was very disappointed and will not be returning.
I was trying to patronize this Black own business but they did not make the cut the first day I stopped by. I got the special for eight dollars which was a leg quarter and two sides. It was so old dried out. It was so small But the barbecue sauce taste pretty good so I figured let me try it again the next day ,because I like the collard greens , He was just cooking them but when I went back again the next day, the collard greens are very salty. The macaroni cheese was salty, and the Leg quarter & fish was still small. I’m pretty much spent almost $20 -30 on 3 plates and we are not satisfied. It’s too small & salty. Customer Service was not really good either
Literally the best fried fish I’ve had, Mac n cheese was well seasoned and cheesy. Food was super fresh, will definitely be back
Soon let's start with one of the men whom was sitting on outside saying the food is good what a lie! The cashier with red hair and braces took my order I was very specific. I paid my $58 dollar total for 2 plates and 2 drinks. I wanted to support my fellow black business but I will definitely NOT be spending my coin at this establishment anymore. I was charged extra for cornbread that I didn't receive, I asked collard greens and fried chicken but was given otherwise with no explanation. If your looking for a place to eat ABSOLUTELY DO NOT EAT HERE!👎🏾
The only good thing was the frozen Arnold Palmer once mixed

Hands down some of the best BBQ I ever had. I especially love the smoked wings, coleslaw, turkey wing, and beef ribs! Soooo good
Please do not believe the content creators or the hype you see on social media. This food was disgusting. My pulled pork was so dry, it was crunchy. It tasted a month old. The Mac and cheese looked like mashed cornbread, not cheesy. No flavor. The baked beans were so sweet but nasty as the same time. This food should be free it’s so disgusting.
The only thing you should order from here is the frozen lemonade. And lock your doors when going to order, multiple junkies lurking. People coming in and out side door of the food truck like it was a public restaurant. 1/10
Completely wrong order delivered on 5/21. My first time ever trying this place. Order was Chicken leg quarter with no sauce, yellow rice, green beans and 2 pieces of white bread. Instead I got a leg quarter full of barbecue sauce, collared greens, potato salad and one cornbread muffin. Everything was wrong. I had my mind and mouth set for what I ordered but just let it go as I am fresh off of a surgery and didn't want to be stressed.
I went to the food truck parked outside of Grady. Didn’t expect much because I’m vegetarian. But they had lots of sides for Vegs and an overall hefty menu for a food truck which usually only have a handful of items. The fried okra (made fresh, seasoned and perfectly crunchy) & potato salad were bomb. Chef & cashier super friendly and welcoming.
This brisket was really fatty, the macaroni and cheese was really gross. The ribs were good. The greens were just average. The frozen Arnold Palmer was delicious.
