Flavorful! looks good, taste good.... Awesome!!

Volunteering at new life church around the corner and wanted bbq on a Saturday. This place came up near with good reviews. My 1st time, I tried the ribs & fried wings. Wanted more grilled options, but the brisket was sold out. Connected to a gas station. Plenty of parking, adequate restrooms, nice cashier, straight forward simple menu with great options we all like. Order meat separately from sides. No combo options displayed-all A la carte. Easily make any combo. Nice smoked grill smell coming from the back.

Wings-10/10 great price and portion. Great flavor throughout to the bone. I would reduce the seasoning added on top as it was a bit too salty. I would order these again. Good thin fries and southern okra.

Rib tips-10/10 great price and portion. Not too over seasoned, Chef allowed the meat to stand out. Perfect thick cuts of tips and perfect tenderness. Visible smoke layer on the meat which was perfect with a little crust crunch. You can put this picture in a magazine. Great job Chef on these A1 meaty rib tips.

Mac & Cheese- looked great. My wife said it didn’t have much flavor. I couldn’t try it-lactose intolerant

Green Beans- I can tell it’s seasoned without meat. I actually prefer canned green beans with just salt and pepper instead of these seasonings. Felt more like a $3 side instead of $4

Coleslaw-when I got home 30 minutes away the coleslaw was warm, which made me question was it not cold when I purchased it or was it because it was placed around the hot items that it became warm in transit. It was fair tasting, could have been colder and more vibrant on the appearance.

Baked Beans-10/10 I can tell that they were cooked a while to allow the flavor to marinate and these beans were perfect with the barbecue and fried chicken, fries, and okra. The light bread was good too, but I do like good cornbread.

Didn’t see any desserts. Good meats and fair prices. I’m sure they do well catering. I’d like for them to upgrade the overall aesthetic/signage; Outside banner, inside decoration, catering highlight area upgrade. Upgrades cost, which may mean their prices may have to increase, but with the quality of food, the aesthetic should match and it’s pretty plain outside and inside. I asked to speak to the owner/chef because the rib tips and wings with fries, okra, and baked beans were simply delicious. I didn’t try the other sides until I got home. Everyone was nice and felt like family. I support this place, recommend and will come back.

Me and my dad finally got some food from Smoque House...the rib tips are A1!!! My dad said they sold him and hooked him!!! He said it leaves desirable taste after you eat it.... smoked flavor in through and through. Not overcooked or undercooked. Shoutouts to Monique and her grillmaster husband!

The ribs here are fall off the bone good with no sauce needed!!

Consistently good food PLUS great catering customer service. My husband and I found this place while in the area and gave it a try. Everything was delicious—the brisket, the green beans, the Mac and cheese! It’s what I consider real traditional southern good food, no gimmicks needed.
Then I reached out to Monique about catering our wedding and she was very responsive and helpful as we planned the menu. They catered delicious food for our 175 guests and my only regret is underestimating how much people would love the smoked salmon! It’s a must try! My picky grandmother said THAT FOOD WAS GOOD and I think that speaks volumes

The jerk ribs, potato salad and collard greens were delicious. The jerk ribs are "stand alone" ribs with "lite bread"... no sauce needed. The potato salad was homemade like the Big Mama's from 70's and like church homecomings during that time when everything was made from scratch. The owner Monique gave stellar customer service as well...a very nice lady. Ppl this is a hidden gem on the eastside. This place is a must try.

I just tried it for the first time out of pure curiosity while waiting on my sons’ haircuts to be finished. Zaria took my order and was super friendly while helping me order. Everything sounded so good it was hard to choose so she suggested the 2 meat combo of sliced brisket and ribs with mac & green beans. They have tap to pay and there was no long wait. Everything is DELICIOUS! Hurry up and get here!

Thank y’all so much for the delicious catering order on July 4th!! Everyone loved the BBQ and still raving about it…. Everything was FANTASTIC and DELICIOUS!! Everything … Pulled Pork (flavorful) , Brisket (juicy), Ribs .. so tender and flavorful … Baked Beans and Pasta Salad … sooo good. Y’all have an amazing business with consistency.

The packaging of everything was amazing; so neat and professional !!

OMGG!! My boyfriend and I visited this place for the very first time today (Sat) and we had ribs tips baked beans potatoes salad wings and fries!! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! The service from Monique the owner and her husband was perfect and they are wonderful professional people!! We will be back!

I would eat here everyday if possible!! The jerk turkey is the best I’ve had at any establishment. The vegetables are ALWAYS good but they sellout pretty fast. The owner & his family are good people and the customer service is top notch. Stop by and see for yourself that the food is reasonably priced and delicious….KD

Bussin. I have lived down the street from this place for 7 years and just tried it Saturday( unfortunately they are only open weekends). Absolutely top teir. The rib tips are scrumptious the whitening fried crispy and wellll seasoned. I will be back... this weekend

The staff is friendly? The food is great ?? If you love smoked food. This is a must try!!
