So Halal is everything soul food is supposed to be comforting, flavorful, and made with love. From the moment I opened my box, I could tell the food was cooked with intention. The mac and cheese was perfectly creamy, the yams were sweet and buttery, and the collard greens tasted like somebody’s auntie was in the back making sure they came out right. The chicken was seasoned all the way through not just on the outside and they truly mean it when they say halal.

Let me start by saying I’m a foodie and a cook. It’s very hard to please my taste buds because they’re full grown 😂 The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. We ordered stew chicken, peas and rice, cabbage, mac and cheese, yams, jerk chicken, fried chicken, curry chicken. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the portions were more than enough.
