It was our first time visiting this restaurant. I found them through a Google search. I wanted to find a soul food restaurant for Sunday dinner, my Mom’s birthday and Father’s Day dinner.

Omg!!!!!! I love this place!!! I came in and saw two amazing older ladies in aprons. I said to myself "I knew it!!" it's somebodies grandmother back there in that kitchen. I'm from Alabama and I have struggled to find great soulfood here. This place made me shed a happy tear today!!!! well done good and faithful servants!! lol Y'all all going to Heaven

Well wanted some good Soul food and stopped by there today. I must say I was very dissatisfied! I ordered Turkey wings and though they show you your food when I got it home to eat it it was bad! Tuff with no flavor what do ever! Will not be going back!

The food was alright, some things that they can improve on are to make sure the tables are cleaned off and swept under after each customer uses that table, the roll was cold and hard, the mac & cheese was dry (add more cheese), and the key lime pie was a little dry so either it came out of the oven dry or it was old. The liver and rice was really good and so was the lemonade.

I am a new vegan and was on Google looking for a good restaurant close to home! The Soulful Taste Cafe was wonderful!! The girls at the counter were very warm and welcoming when I told all I want is the sides with no meat! The pointed to the Veggie Plate! The cost was reasonable and the food was so good! I will be back!!!
Great place great food fresh daily I love this restaurant very cozy and friendly and the food is plenty portions are filling. Thankyou for being in the neighborhood we need y'all lol.

Customer service is good. The food is delicious but I definitely see the difference in the portions of food you receive when you order to go. I advise staying to eat your food on the property otherwise your plate we look like a child’s plate.

We are currently here for my sister's birthday. The food was different and good. We got there about 1:30pm. The waitress was not friendly. When we asked her for hot sauce she never acknowledged she heard us as she walked away. So, we asked again and she threw her hand up to dismiss us as if we were annoying her. When it was time to go and our waitress could not be found, we asked a waiter to take our photo, and he sighed stating that he was working. We understand that the employees are working but we came here because of the reviews and the experience of celebrating a birthday. I give a one for the horrible customer service.
