The food here is the bomb! Their fried corn was my favorite. We also had the Salisbury steak with rice and that was good too. Their customer service was amazing. We sat outside and they made sure we were shaded (big umbrella) and even turned on some music for us! Great service, will definitely be back!

I ordered the Salisbury steak with rice and gravy, squash and zucchini, mac n cheese and a roll with the sweet tea. The food was good. I think the mac n cheese could have used some more seasoning but it was cheesy. The rice lacked any seasoning. Overall this is a good place to get a soul food plate. I will be coming back soon.

Omg when I say this food is BOMB!!! I NEVER DO REVIEWS BUT I HAD TO. Reminds me of my grandma cooking. Food put me to sleep. Couldn't eat all of it in one sitting. My daughter and I ordered Salisbury steak and fried pork chop with yams, fried corn, Mac & cheese & green beans. Everything was a hit! Will definitely come back and let family and friends know about this awesome place.

Um no. Greens were odd. Green beans even offer. Fried chicken was okay. I'd order it again but not those sides. This was my first time here. I might try again but also might not.

Let me just say if you want some good home cooked soul food GIVE THEM A TRY. I promise you they will NOT disappoint. Not only did I have a pretty large order, but they were able to get the food within a reasonable amount of time. The food is BOMB. I had the baked chicken which came with rice and gravy, 2 additional sides, a corn muffin, AND a drink. The chicken was seasoned so well!! This food is guaranteed to fill you up and have you sitting with the itis lol so get ready. The other plus is that it is a Black Owned establishment. Soulful Taste has a new customer forever!!

Been driving past this colorful facade for months and wanted to go check it out, then noticed it was closed once coronavirus turned everything upside down. Today noticed the neon open sign on and immediately called the boyfriend to check out their menu. Shared we had baked chicken over rice, fried chicken (2 pieces dark meat), collard greens, sweet yams, cornbread stuffing, green beans, corn muffins and drinks (each entree + 2 sides + muffin + drink = $12). It was so so good, the baked chicken was fall off the bone tender and both the green beans and the collards had that tang that I love. Plenty of leftovers for later and now we are snoozing on the couch. The staff were friendly and the whole space was pandemic-friendly spotless. Thank you, we will be back!
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I grew up with 3 mothers. My mom, my great grand and great great grandmother. And ever time I come here and sit to eat I cry a lil in the inside. From the great food and decor it feels like I'm sitting in the kitchen at the table and in the chair I grew up in. I've tried everything on the menu but I hate I always miss the breakfast. I'm pretty sure and confident that it is buSSin also thou. It feels so much like family everytime. This my go to definitely every Sunday. So if you want some great soul food with a great smile and laugh go check ( Our Aunts and cousins ) this place out ASAP

I'm from Alabama and I have struggled to find great soulfood here. This place made me shed a happy tear today!!!! well done good and faithful servants!! lol Y'all all going to Heaven

So we found this place on Yelp. We always try a new restaurant when we venture into new areas. Although it's small, they do have indoor seating. The food was delicious! Seasoned well, decent sized portions, and fulfilling. I like that it's family owned and operated. I'll definitely go back.
