The cherry pie is so good.( I am not vegan) the vegan cakes are delicious and the gluten free ginger pound cake soaked in rum with cream cheese frosting is impeccable! The ladies at the counter are so nice.Dietary restrictions: Good variety of gluten free cakes

We were not fans of the potatoes and they were pricey for such little amount. The vanilla and orange pound cake was okay and very small pieces. Came to try the biscuits, ordered them and after 5 minutes was told they had none.The wait was 30 minutes.

I don't even really like cake that much but I LOVE THIS PLACE! The fact that a bakery with the word "Southern" in its name has more than five vegan options still shocks me. The coconut cake is delicious. It is a little pricey for an individual slice but totally worth it if you want to treat yourself.

We got an assortment of cheesecakes. The staff was very helpful and kind. Everything was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for just one slice of dessert or enough to feed a crowd.

It's in kind of a warehouse district looking area, but this little place clearly was not hidden from the locals who were streaming in. A splendid spread of baked goods awaited, but I was surprised how many of them were vegan. I sampled what was described as a chocolate raspberry mousse cake, bearing in mind that mousse is a very non-vegan foodstuff. The rich flavor and smooth texture did little to disappoint, and if it was coconut or something like that there wasn't any strange or off taste to dissuade me from wolfing that thing down. The average diner may just ignore the labeling as to what is and what is not vegan, but those with particular dietary preferences or allergies will be quite satisfied if what I got is any indication.

I am writing this to warn people about their customer service. I ordered a cake for a client. They requested carrot cake. I saw that there were raisins in it, which I don't think my client nor her coworkers would like, so I asked for them to be removed. I then come to pick up the cakes only to be told they don't remove ingredients on online orders. This is LOUSY customer service. All you had to do was call me and tell me you don't remove the raisins in this cake, or that I have to call it in to have the raisins removed. What if my client had been allergic to raisins? I would've been completely screwed and had to put in a completely different order and hope it would be before the celebration. There was no reason they couldn't pick the phone up and call to tell me they weren't going to remove the raisins from the carrot cake. I am irritated they couldn't be bothered to do so and I'm even more irritated that there are raisins in there in the first place, meaning I can't have a slice of the cake I bought for my client because raisins in cake is gross, so not only have they disappointed my client, but me as well. I will not be back here.

I learned of Southern Sweets after my brother surprised me and my office with a Key Lime cake for my birthday. The cake was a little bit different that more traditional recipes but very decadent, moist, flavorful, and delicious. I and my office enjoyed it thoroughly. It was not overly sweet which I immensely appreciate and was truly satisfying. Thank you so much for the amazing delivery!
