One of the best sushi spots in Atlanta. Quality fish and rolls, great friendly service with a smile. Quick service since it’s such a small spot. And they have gluten free options! Yay!Kid-friendliness: They were also accommodating for our child’s birthday party even arriving an hour prior to their lunch break

Vegetable nigiri, avocado tempura, cucumber/avocado roll, etc., etc.

I ordered pickup for the first time and really enjoyed everything! Everything was delicious, fresh, high quality, and generous portions. The service when I went to pick up was friendly too. Will definitely come back, I highly recommend.

Food was mid, a bit overpriced for the quality. Garnish had orange topped with broccoli topped with a dollop of mayo and that was WEIRD. Edamame and white rice with the bento box, no substitution offered. Worst part was the MUSIC omg the WORST cover song compilation I’ve ever heard in my life. Would definitely not go back.Service was decent though, servers were friendly and prompt.

Very much enjoyed the sushi. The curry did not seem especially fresh. It had the consistency of a soft blob.

The front staff was excellent. The Tempura was excellent. Bento boxes are great. The Katsu was good but, a tad over cooked. I had the fried chicken curry. The curry was excellent! The fried chicken consisted of four little thin rectangles of chicken that were overcooked. The curry was so good that I blew it off, but in retrospect I should’ve said something, because this place is pricey. I’d definitely go back and give it another try though.

Excellent sushi place in Decatur. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the atmosphere was awesome. I sat on the patio outside and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for sushi!

Went here years ago, decided a few days ago to go back again because I was in the area and I didn't remember if I liked it or not. Well, I should have remembered - not. Sadly.I love Japanese food and I was so hoping that I would enjoy the Tonkatsu entree and edamame starter that I ordered. It started out well with the miso soup being pretty tasty. Unfortunately, the edamame was not great as it was only lukewarm and tasted as if it had been microwaved from frozen (not to mention that I didn't get any kind of bowl or fish for me to discard the shells - I wound up finishing the soup quickly and used that). While my entree looked pleasing to the eye, it failed the deliciousness test by being bone dry. I'm talking Sahara here folks. Granted, a thin piece of pork is difficult to keep really moist but this? (See the pictures). I was starving so I ate it and didn't send it back, but only because I was starving and service was so slow that I wasn't sure I'd get a fresh plate in time before the restaurant closed (they were breaking down the sushi bar as I ate). I don't know what the server was doing but he had to be reminded that I ordered a diet Coke, didn't bring me anything to eat with until I asked, didn't refresh my drink and took an absolute age to bring my bill. Many people seem to like this place but I'm fairly sure it'll be years (again) before I come back.

Servers are excellent and extremely attentive. I mean my goodness I honestly appreciate clear cut communication and understanding on “what is what”. Menu is detailed and lets you know what’s in the sushi rolls, and is rather affordable for a date out with the significant. ?10/10 would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: There is actually a vegetarian ? leaf symbol on the menu to symbolize what is what and it’s very helpful.Dietary restrictions: I’m vegan transitioning to pescatarian…..it was an excellent surprise to see on the menu what’s in the sushi roll before purchasing the meal.

It had been several years since I'd been to Sushi Avenue. It was consistently good back then, and, wow! It's still just as good! I look forward to coming back more often.
