The food is undeniably high quality, but it just didn't match my palate. I'm averse to cucumber, even having a mild reaction if I have enough of it. So many of the rolls here contain cucumber, even ones that I don't traditionally associate with it. I figured a small amount of diced cucumber as I normally see in maki is usually tolerable, so I took a chance, but these are huge chunks that easily take up a third of the roll.
If you really like cucumber, this is the spot for you, but unfortunately, it did not agree with me.

I placed an online order here for the first time today and at first went to the wrong location. When I got to the location on the Square, I learned that my order had not been confirmed yet since they had been so busy. However, Zen was extremely accommodating and immediately confirmed my order and went back to the kitchen to have them start my order as soon as possible. He offered me water and a place to sit while I waited. When my food came out only 15 minutes later, I did notice that it was a chicken tempura appetizer instead of the entre I ordered, so I let Zen know and he was swiftly in the kitchen having them prepare the entre dish. I asked to dine in since I was going to be waiting and I already had the sushi roll I ordered. Zen and the chefs were more than accommodating and immediately brought out my rice, soup, and salad (I don’t even think I was supposed to get a salad!). The food was out shortly after and the meal was delicious.
A special shoutout to Zen, who was extremely kind, helpful, and hardworking! Give him a raise!

Lovely experience here for lunch on a Saturday with my twin 7 year olds. Chef made us feel really special by inviting the kids to watch him roll their sushi! Will be coming back soon!

Haven't been to Sushi Avenue in years, so I decided to take myself to lunch and sushi is what I was craving. This place did not disappoint 👏🏽. The sevice was fast, the food was delicious, the sever was so pleasant and polite and the prices are reasonable. My only negative is that the spring rolls were rather small but still tasty, so I won't dock a star for that reason.
Been going here for over 20yrs the service, the food, the atmosphere, always A1. Spicy tuna roll, spicy crunchy salmon roll with eel sauce and crunch on top😋. Sato is the best.
