I did a pick up order on a Friday night. I went into the store, 20 minutes later to retrieve my order, and the girl at the counter kept telling me that it was still getting ready even though I seen a bag what looks like my name on the delivery side, then a person comes in and try to retrieve my bag and I finally spoke up and got my food. Not to mention the store smelled like dirty mop water.Never will I go back to TacoMac in Decatur City.

The service was terrible. We arrived at 5:30 and was seated at a dirty table. After waiting over 45 minutes we were notified that they are switching staff and there would be an extra wait. Trying to clarify if the food would be ready in within the next 10 minutes the server did nothing but serve attitude and rudeness to us customers. An entire hour of waiting and terrible service. Highly recommend anywhere else in the area.

This place has been on a downfall lately but this lunch was delicious the chips, the wings, And best of all the our server her name is India she's so incredibly nice and gave us refills without us even asking! And she always checked on us. She deserves a raise! Anyways great food! Awesome job everyone!

I don't usually write reviews, but I've never been more compelled to write this one. Joey was our bartender, and though she had a bubbly personality she lacked in attentiveness. My boyfriend had the signature margarita (pictured) and he asked for no salt or sugar on the rim. When the drink arrived it had sugar on the rim but he let that go. What we COULD NOT let go was the fact that there was broken GLASS on the rim as well and he almost swallowed that!!!. I can't even show a picture of it because when we handed it to the other bartender she dropped it on the ground and basically brushed off the incident despite this being a serious hazard. Even when we informed Joey she provided no discussion as to how this could be rectified. Only inciting that she had "no idea as to how it happened". Not to mention the chips that came with our trio appetizer were half stale and half fresh ?? Wings were big and decent. It's no wonder why on a Saturday night at 10pm that this place was 70% empty. It was a very disappointing experience, and I highly recommend finding another establishment to enjoy your weekend dinner .

The worse take out I ever hadI would be embarrassed to deliver this to a customer, to prepare this type of food or manage this restaurant Look at the picture and decide for yourself

I'm not one to complain but this was by far the worst service I have ever had. Took 10 mins for a server to come take order, another 15 before the drinks came and when I ordered the server showed up with the wrong food and had no idea it was the wrong food. It then took another 30 mins for the replacement food came and the bonelss wings were basically dried out nuggets thrown in a sauce. Never did get my second beer because 20 mins later server said " there is something wrong with the tap" and was surprised when I just said give me the check.Server dropped off check came back 10 mins later and said " who dropped that off, the puzzled look on my face said it all " you did, are you ok?" I know servers can be busy but really?!

I love them mainly for wings. If I had something to do then I would've complained about the 20min wait (they told me 15 min). As my cousin and I both looked at reviews and saw about the wait thing they've been having going on. So clearly they look like they may be short staffed or some other internal issue. It wasn't bad. Our food came fast and was hot and delicious. It was Memorial Day and after reading the reviews we were nervous as heck. Cause I have been to a few other taco macs and I was talking about it so much to my cousin she ended up wanting to go. I'm so glad they ain't bring no cold food out.

This was my first ever visit to “Taco Mac,” which is Atlanta ‘s hometown chicken wing and beer pub restaurant that reminded me of another local chain that I’ve been to on previous FWA con-cations that served similar food called “Wild Wings Cafe”. My local friend and fellow Furry brother “Toad” wanted me to check out “Taco Mac” on Wednesday May 10th, the night before we headed out to Downtown Atlanta to attend our favorite furry convention “Furry Weekend Atlanta” for the seventh year!!! We visited the “Taco Mac” in Decatur, which was near Toad’s recently purchased home in nearby Stone Mountain. We arrived before 5pm, and it wasn’t busy (yet) as we were promptly seated. We were a furry party of three (incl Toad’s roommate Krone, who is a very talented artist and his amazing work is on FurAffinity) We shared two plates of their signature Philly Cheesesteak and Buffalo Chicken egg rolls and their signature beer sampler (Taco Mac brews their own beers!!) We enjoyed the beers and the appetizers very much!! We also added a pitcher of beer to compliment our wings. Toad and ‘yours truly’ enjoyed a plate of 30 wings, and we were able to get four different flavors (Cajon Voodoo Magic, Hot Buffalo, Sweet Chili Sesame and their amazing Habanero BBQ) and they were devoured pretty fast. Krone had chicken strips and fries. Hanging out, talking furry trash and eating wings and drinking beer, it wax fun times and the clock went fast (We we’re inside Taco Mac almost three hours) It got packed as we left after 8pm, and it was worth it! The service was excellent, the ladies were a big help providing good beer choices for us. Overall, I would recommend “Taco Mac” Decatur for some wings and beer with good friends. FOUR CLAWS UP!!!! Thanks for reading my review of “Taco Mac” in downtown Decatur. Joe G. Bear (Pre-FWA ‘23 Review)

I honestly had the best Mac n cheese I've ever had here. It's got a little spice to it and the chicken is great. If you want to save some money, order off the kids menu and it comes with a good size meal - I got 2 chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and a moon pie. I went when it first opened and the service was not great but they were teaching staff so it makes sense and they'll get the swing of things.

I was really excited to come to this restaurant with my maternity brothers and sorority sisters today. We had a full day of service feeding the homeless and stroll practice, so I was hungry. I'm the only one in the group that doesn't eat meat but I was hopeful for a good meal because ATL restaurants accommodating to plant based foodies. They do have a plant based option for a burger but I wanted tacos. There is no option for plant based tacos I asked our server who was wonderful by the way. He was working the bar and serving our large group. He asked the kitchen to make tacos for me using the impossible patty and was told no. I'm so disappointed. We've been here for 4 hours and I can't get what I wanted. Please be more accommodating to plant based eaters we like to eat more than salads. I had guacamole and chips I'm so hungry I'm
