Nice! This was our first visit here and definitely not the last! Let’s start with the service, EXCELLENT! The food was amazing as well as the PRESENTATION! I eat with my eyes and I was pleasantly pleased visually and physically lol! Hidden gem in downtown Decatur!!

I recently had dinner at Takumi for the first time. The quality of the food, service, and overall experience was fantastic. We ordered two appetizers, three sushi rolls, dessert, and a round of drinks for roughly $85. Loved everything about our experience and already looking forward to going back.

Totally disappointed. Ordered take out. The food was okay at best, and the portion size was not worth the cost. The sushi was mediocre (ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the spicy salmon roll). Both were underwhelming. The spicy salmon roll was not spicy at all. Both rolls were very flat. We ordered two orders of miso soup which were gone in a few sips. The spring rolls were good but the portion size was not relative to the cost. I'm left hungry and disappointed.

This place is cozy, charming, and wonderful with a delightfully friendly staff. My wife has a very adventurous palette, while I am a burger and wings guy, but we were both thrilled with our meals. We came for a celebration, and it was perfect. It’s also great for a casual dinner out.

#truereview sushi was fresh... nice chop stix, limited parking, slow service, no wait, Coke served in bottle which was nice, great spring rolls and clean bathrooms.

Portions were very small, prices were very high. Sushi rice was not great, fell apart after picking it up each time. Sushi was smaller in size than standard while prices being higher. Ramen was bad and only came with 3 small pieces of wagyu despite being priced at $35, and did not come with an “crispy wagyu bits” as advertised. Chopsticks were heavily warped, need to be replaced.
This is a very cozy, family-owned restaurant that turns out lovely meals. The ramen is a family favorite. Recommended for a high-quality meal in a relaxing setting.

This is a great family oriented restaurant. The owner is very friendly and the food is really good. By the way, they have different type of Japanese Rum and whiskey at the bar.
If you are in Atlanta, this is place to get fresh Sushi

I had a birthday dinner there for 8 and made a reservation. I get it’s a lot of people but they knew about it way in advanced. When we got there and we sat down it took them 20 min just to get our drink order and then they also got our food order. Never got our drinks till way after we got food and some peoples food was completely wrong. We stated multiple times that it was the wrong food or we were missing food and they acted like it was our fault and asked if we even ordered it. It took us a whole hour to get more water. Plus people who got friend rice said it was really bad and tasted old. Other tables with 2 or 4 people who sat down 30-an hour after us already got all of their drinks and food and check way before we did. We weren’t even picky but the service was terrible and the atmosphere was really loud. Really disappointed because the place looked really cool and i saw the reviews were good.

Not many customers, still waited for a super long time to get our food. Very disappointed with the taste and quality of the food. Service was also very poor. Didn't stop by to check anything unless at the end when we were going to pay the check. Online review is very high and the price is also quite high and we expected a much more pleasant dinner but it turned out to be much worse than the Sushi Ave which is just half a minute away.

We love this spot, the addictive cabbage is assigned the right name. Sushi is wonderful, the soft shell crab sushi is amazing! You must go.
The sushi is good but the service is beyond bad. It’s my second time and both times the food took forever and the servers seemed completely clueless. Can’t go back because of how frustrating it is even though the food is good

Service was horrible. It took fifteen minutes to get a menu. I placed an order for Otoro Nigri, Waygu Nigri, Unagi Nigri and shrimp shumai. It took another forty minutes just to get the Otoro and Waygu. I've had better. Never received the Unagi. I told the couple next to me that they can have it whenever it comes out. I spent a hundred dollars. Was it worth it? No. First and last time.
