Not so busy of a place and
affordable
This place was terrible. Bowling was fine. The bar and bartenders were awful. We waited like 45 minutes for a nacho to come to the table and it was awful when it got there. The bartenders attitudes were they didn’t give a crap if u waited 25 minutes for a drink and walked away as they totally ignore you. Nor do they care that ur nachos were so terrible they didn’t even get eaten after waiting as long as we did. My mom on the way out stood in the line and waited for the bartender and pushed the nachos on the bar and said hey if you think these are good here you eat them lol good for you mom. Terrible food and service from bartenders. Who by the way got tipped I’m an ex bartender from NYC and Hampton’s Long Island so know how to tip. These bartender’s need replaced immediately.
Every time I try to go it is closed. Either for event or maintenance. The business also does not change their open hours on Google when they are closed.
Food always great lanes clean drinks perfect. Try the lunchbox drink
First,
The service here is hit or miss. There have been some friendly folks behind the bar, but also some rude folks behind the bar. Sometimes service is reliant, or you can stand at the bar for a long time and be (what seems to be purposely?) ignored while your time is running out on the Lane you have paid for.
The food is above average for pub food. No complaints there.
My main complaint is that every time I have bowled here, the approaches are covered in oil from the lanes and the rest of the floors are sticky with spilled beer and soda, so if you own your own bowling shoes, you might as well use the rentals instead so you don't ruin them. Oil covered approaches are a major fall hazard. I have attempted to bowl here several times and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before writing a review, but this has consistently been the case since they re-opened. As many times as I have been here, I have never seen someone cleaning the approaches in between bowlers throughout the day. Perhaps it does happen, but I've never seen it. Pinsetters jam often and it takes a while to get help when that happens. The arcade tokens are expensive for the kids, and the games provided leave a lot to be desired. The air hockey machine jammed and stopped working and we didn't get our money back because the tokens are ran by a different company, supposedly? Seems with how expensive it is to bowl at this place, you could afford to just put a few free arcade games out for the kids so you don't have to fuss with the tokens that you can't provide customer assistance with in the first place. And maybe more employees? Friendlier employees?
The low Stars are not because I'm a bitter mom whose kid lost his money to the arcade, it is because I am a person who loves to bowl and loves bowling alleys and this one needs a lot of help...
Decatur classic.
Slowest lanes I’ve ever encountered- felt like we spent most of the (way overpriced) hour waiting for the pins to be reset. (And reset again if the pins weren’t lined up.) Sticky floors and greasy balls as well.
Classic 80s vibe. Nice to see they have NA options beyond a decent beer range. $3 games before 5 on weekdays. Staff is super nice.
Made Father’s Day reservation weeks ago & just got a call the day before saying they have to cancel my reservation because they close early tomorrow ?
Family fun

Kind service but super expensive
Blonde bartender gave terrible customer service to my family and myself. Said very little and expressed no gratitude for our business. We then put in an order for food with another person behind the bar that didn’t communicate with the bartender. Bowling was fun but the service made the whole decision to come on Mother’s Day regrettable. Comet used to have great bartenders and service.
Enjoyed the bowling, food, and fellowship with members of the marriage ministry at Peace Baptist Church.

Prices are high to bowl but I guess it's just a Ga thing.
It was a nice bowling alley. They have lots of drinks and food available, which was nice. It was a bit on the pricey side.
