I was not expecting much, but this place is delicious!!! Brown stew chicken is really the only Jamaican dish my mom would ever make so I stuck with a classic and it was sooooo good. My only regret was only getting a small plate and not ordering another side of plantains.This is my new favorite lunch spot in the area

A group of friends suggested trying a Jamaican restaurant we found online with positive reviews. We decided to give this place a try. The staff was welcoming, and the place was clean. However, the food, in my opinion, lacked flavor—especially the dry rice and unremarkable chicken. Surprisingly, the cabbage stood out as the highlight. Tried this new place and was very pleased!Very delicious food!Tried the brown stew chicken which had very authentic flavors and not overly sweet.Only complaint was chicken was cut up and I got a whole piece of bones.

Great Customer Service is everything to me, and this place gets an A++, So, I ate here before, and the food was delicious. I had the jerk chicken lunch special. I also had the split pea soup, so yummy. So, on Mondays I decided to return for some more soup. When I pulled up I forgot they were closed on Monday. The owner comes outside and apologizes that I drove over there, I said no worries, I'll be back tomorrow and asked what type of soup he would have. He informed me it would be chicken soup. I return the following day only to be told the soup was not quite ready. I was on my lunch break from work, so I couldn't wait around. The owner asked me was my job in the area, I said yes very close. Do y'all know this wonderful man brought my soup to me. Now if that's not going above and beyond I don't know what is! Please check Humming Bird out, you will not be disappointed!
The food was delicious! Please explain why my plate was all rice and a cut up chicken pack that wasn't on the rice but on the side? 14.99 for a chicken back? How was there more cabbage than chicken...please next time I will walk in and not delivery because this wasnt it!! I went on a limb to try something new. The customer service was nice ....

Me and hubby went in this darling place on a whim. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and with smiles!!!!! We initially only went in for beef patties. I ended up ordering jerk chicken rasta pasta after looking at the menu inside. Let me tell you... I am so GLAD that I did!!!!!! The pasta was well done, jerk chicken was done CORRECT, crunchy veggies and the sauce was juicy saucy. It was delicious!! ????? The patties were delicious as well. I shared my pasta with my entire family when I got home and the kids and hubby loved it! My kids are asking when we are going back! ? We will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu. My first visit did not disappoint!
