Great outdoor seating. Welcoming pub for families. The lamb stew is rich and delicious. The fish and chips is perfect when the fish is fresh. The beef pot pie is perfect on a winter night. Great non-alcoholic beers selection.

We took our little granddaughter with us to lunch at Marlay’s. They had a good selection on the children’s menu. She chose the toasted cheese sandwich. I had the cod sandwich and my husband had the salmon blt. All of us got the house “chips” aka French fries. Our server was attentive. The food was good, but not great. The smoked salmon was over smoked, and the cod was a little greasy. Overall, it was fine and if someone I was with wanted to go there, I would not object. However, I will likely explore some of the other Decatur eateries before going there again.

It was rainy cold and grey when we stopped in to warm up. We were looking for a warm comfort food and we found it. Lamb stew with Irish bread and Shepherds Pie was just what we needed. The chips that we had as a starter came out fast and were delicious and crispy. The finish was a warm pudding. I'm glad we didn't share because it was so good! Our waitress, Hannah was wonderful, fast and attentive.
Seeing a black and white photo of the famous Harpenney Bridge brought back great memories of our visit to Dublin as did the entire look and feel of the Pub. Glad we visited.

$16 for a cup of tasteless lamb stew served lukewarm in a big shallow bowl to make it look like more, with a slice of stale bread and no sides. The atmosphere was nice though.

Great dinner tonight!
My wife had the fish and chips and I had the cheeseburger.
I ordered the burger medium and that’s what I got. Fries are hot, fresh and delicious. Couple Guinness to wash it all down!

Great live music on friday evenings
Hadn’t been to this pub in a while but remembered liking it. Had the smoked salmon and a beer for lunch which was yummy. Then on the way out I saw the their department of public health rating at the front door way up the wall…76 C? I looked up what this means exactly and all violations point to the kitchen. Food not being kept properly and cleanliness in the kitchen. This is shameful for an Irish Pub b/c they pride themselves in their food services. The Wheelhouse, Fido’s, and O’Sullivan’s outstanding. Be safe peeps, know where your eating!
