The food used to be really good here, well during Covid I must add is when I found this place. We’ve come as a family many times to support, have met the owner on several occasions, very pleasant gentleman. We always order the po boys but today we went and it was very mid. Catfish pieces stuffed inside a huge piece of bread. Lacked taste and not impressed at all.We always order the same thing, also ordered the popcorn shrimp for my grandson, they were very fishy tasty and the service was terrible today. I don’t think we’ll be back.For the price, it’s definitely not worth it

Very good experience. A great place for late night snacks near Emory. First time trying to eat Gater bite ?. The atmosphere in the basement is good but a little noisy. But it is indeed a good place to relax.

I went yesterday for St. Patrick day and this was by far my worst experience ever. The managers and servers were getting drunk all over the bar and looked at my party of 3 and ignored us. Keep in mind the building was not packed with people. We went upstairs to order and the lovely lady in the front helped us and went back downstairs because we couldn't get everything we wanted upstairs. When we finally got to order the waitress was too drunk to work the ordering pad and got another lady to do it but she had an attitude and threw our shots on the table. I just wanted to have a good time with friends but instead I felt excluded and not welcome in the establishment. They need to work on customer service while Mishana is not there, She always takes care of you no matter what!!!

No complaints here. The food was decent and it’s your typical bar scene. I only had a chicken ceasar salad and it was very good and flavorful. The beer is better than the cocktails. Asked for a tequila lemon drop and idk what I received but I drank it. ??

I'm not one for going out to loud bars. But The Po'Boy Shop is open and serving food later than most other places, when I like to go out to grab a bite after an evening rehearsal. Oh, and I also really hate seafood to the point that there are some places where I can't walk through the door and continue breathing. But this place is well ventilated and knows how to properly store and cook seafood so that the place doesn't smell like a bait shop. So if you're a seafood bar grinch like me, take it from me that you can safely dine here without losing your dignity. I recommend the chicken tender po boy, cole slaw, boiled peanuts, and bread pudding. And if the menu item has the word "debris," it is delightful eating!
The po boys themselves are decent, but the pricing is horrendous. Charging 16 dollars for a tiny po boy is just insane, especially for Atlanta. I do not recommend anybody pay this price for this size and quality.
