I wanna start off by saying I love the sleepy potato. I'm rarely near Greenbriar so when I decided to come in on Saturday 2/10 @ 5pm I was disappointed because the cashier was extremely rude. I saw new menu items so I asked her what's her favorite? She rolled her eyes and said "everybody ask me that (long pause) I guess I like the seafood one" it caught me off guard so I figured she's having a bad day. Then I attempted to order the salmon potato and requested my salmon to be cooked medium. She quickly said, we don't do that, they gonna cook it all the way through. She presented no alternative neither a suggestion. She was extremely cold and rude. I just walked off not because of the food but the customer service is terrible and I refused to spend my money where I'm not welcomed. I suggest management hire better help for the weekend. Because customer service like this will ruin your establishment.

Half of my food was cold. The potato was good but my pickles were over seasoned and cold. I waited an additional 45 minutes after the time set to pick up my food. The upside, the lady at the counter taking orders was nice and apologetic.

I think this place is out of business both locations look out of business. They should take themselves off Google because some people drive far to come here so I just wasted gas and money because it says open on Google when it is indeed not

I loved the service at The Sleepy Potato. Ms. Tiffany was so pleasant as soon as I walked up to the counter. The potato I bought was the Chicken Alfredo Potato. I LOVED IT. You get your money's worth. The potatoes are HUGE! Great service and GREAT food. Just how I like it!

The food is good. The service is horrible. The first time my daughter and I went, it was on a Monday evening about 6:10. As we got to the counter and started looking at the menu, we were greeted with a bland, "We close in 15 minutes." We were taken aback and confused - not sure what that meant. Was that a warning for us to hurry up?! We were aware the mall closed at 7 but that was so rude and we didn 't understand why they would be closing 35 minutes before the mall closed. Anyhow, we decided to overlook that. The food took a minute for us to get but that wasn't an issue. As we walked back to our car, we discovered they left out part of our order. They knew it also because as soon as we got back to the counter, they were like, "oh yeah, you had another potato." Yeah! I am maintaining my pleasant demeanor in spite of being aggravated. He did apologize and I did lie and say it was ok. Next week, we visited again because as I said, the potatoes are good however that was our last visit - at least to that location! This time as we were ordering - the same order as last time - the guy standing beside the cashier (who I'm assuming is the supervisor or manager) heard us and stopped us to say they can't do that. The "that" involves a chilli cheese potato but putting the chilli on the side. My daughter told them we did that last time and the manager quickly responds with, "Oh that was a mistake." What??? PUTTING THE CHILLI ON THE SIDE INSTEAD OF ON THE POTATO WAS A RULE BREAKER AND A MISTAKE??? We are ordering more than $60 worth of food and you can't make that exception? I understand rules and policy for establishments but the fact that we were repeat customers, who were excited to share with our family and friends about this place, would cause me to rethink that one. We cancelled our order and kept it moving! The more annoying part to all of this is how it was handled and the poor customer service there! He didn't give a damn! It said it and headed to the back. He could've added a little more pleasantries to our visit because I'm sure he recognized us from just a week ago. The contrast to all of this is that we went to get a cookie from the Great American Cookie place and was greeted with a smile from the young ladies there who appeared to be non-American. They even took the time to fancy up a cookie my daughter asked for and they didn't have to do that. It was an added measure of excellent service. I'm only bringing in race because for some reason customer service is a challenge for the black community. I don't get it! We have to do better!

When I arrived, a lady met me at my car to take my order. This being my first time there, I thought that this was customary due to covid restrictions. She kept saying, "I work for tips, I work for tips". Okay, first that's fine, but really? It wasn't until after she'd taken my order that I was informed that we could walk up to the window and order ourselves. The tip wasn't a problem. My food took around an hour, only to get back to my office and see hair in my food. I called and the lady who answered said "I don't see how. Ain't but one person back there and he is a man and he has a bonnet on". Oh okay well I have a picture. She said there wasn't a manager in and to call back later. I've been calling with no answer. I tried the chat with no answer.

The potatoes were really good. Hubby and I were looking for something different so we decided to eat their food. He ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch and I had the Surf and Turf which consists of sirloin steak, shrimp with broccoli and cheese. Mines was VERY good and he enjoyed his as well. The potatoes are HUGE and overstuffed with all kinds of meat! I highly recommend trying them! You won't regret it!
