Recently visited for lunch and was really impressed! It's hard to find good vegetarian/vegan stuff in the area that isn't just some variation of a veggie burger, but at Thinking Man we ordered these really tasty tofu sliders and buffalo cauliflower and both were excellent and came in large portions for cheaper than we've spent elsewhere for lunch. Even at lunch time in the middle of the week, the bartender/server was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Looking for a down to earth, old school, earthy comfortable bar in the heart of Decatur.. .. u gots it .
Gets a bit loud at times later at night, and still holds on to that friendly family vibe, you don't see anymore in Decatur.
Their beguiling beer/tap menu is bout 4 pages long by itself. The friendly informed barkeeps (EMMA & Davey ) are more than happy to guide you thru the choices and give an intelligent recommendation.
No joke.
I always gets one of their plethora of stouts, with their soup o day, Veggie Empanadas, & the vicious Deviled Eggs / Spicy Fried Pickles. Yum.
Locals and regulars are always there and friendly & kind. Easy Parking, lot at TMT. Made a friend at this place.

Found this spot from a quick glance driving by and I'm so glad I stopped in. Best fried pickles around, their wings were crazy good, and the people I was with all loved the food! They have trivia Night in Tuesday's which was pretty fun, a little hard to hear though. Really cool decor, great drink selection, and the waiters are all super cool.

Ended up here by chance after attending a show nearby. I was so happy they had so many vegetarian options on the menu. Bar was eclectic and fun to look at. The bartender was very nice. My husband enjoyed his drink.

Went for brunch on Saturday. I had the park scrambler and my husband had the Dallas cowboys tacos. Both were really good. My only complaint is they need to deep clean the ladies restroom. Shoes were sticking to the floor.

This was my first visit to this tavern and it was nothing short of amazing! We came here specifically for Atlanta burger week and their burger did not disappoint! The cheese was so melty! I got a side of tots and my husband got the potato rounds. Both were great but I preferred the tots! This place seems to have some great specials throughout the week. We also loved the vibe of the tavern!

It's a great place what's good food great service and also a rarity in that area plenty of parking!
Absolute perfection!! My girlfriend and I came here after a date night at Fernbank Museum and Thinking Man Tavern was the perfect spot to end the night. PLEASE - do not get rid of your vegan/vegetarian options, they were absolutely delicious and my girlfriend is the pickiest of eaters and absolutely cleaned her plate. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly, the vibes: immaculate.
Summary: Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibes, don't change a thing.
Sincerely, deeply satisfied customers.
Industry night on Sundays until 3am
Even though it was very busy, I was able to get a drink without waiting to long. The bartenders are good here
The food was overcooked. The drink selection was not terrible. I did enjoy the staff and atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend going on Friday night unless you want karaoke.
