Customer service was terrible. I came to this location, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 4:46 pm. The cashier that took my order name was Keaira S. I asked about a dish with curry that I had before normally the person taking your order would show you where that dish is a try to help you find it. She gave me a blank stare, as if I spoke another language so fondly I found it. I questioned if it already had chicken in there or could I add it again I haven’t ordered this dish in years her tone was condescending. She responded to me as if I asked a dumb question. Her whole attitude was terrible. Worst Customer Service ever. When I asked the question about boba and the drink I was ordering same thing I got a condescending tone, an irritated tone as if I was asking a dumb question.

Quite possibly the worst pad Thai I’ve ever had. The Thai Iced Boba tea was also very bitter and almost burnt tasting. Very disappointed with all 4 items I tried, and certainly will not be returning.

I didn't enjoy my food. I got the fire cracker cauliflower level 2. My food wasn't spicy and had sesame seeds on it that didn't add much to my food. My food was also lukewarm.

I forgot to add my points to my reward account. Instead of them suggesting to send an email to Tin Drum customer, service they just acted weird and not helpful. The customer service wasn't present here.

I prefer the North Druid Hills location anyway. In was just in the neighborhood and decided to stop by.

To-go order on 12/7/25: I ordered two Mongolian Stir Fry meals with ribeye steak, and both portions were overcooked. The steak was tough, fried too hard, and tasted like it might have been leftover instead of fresh. Not the quality I expect from Tin Drum. This was disappointing, especially for the cost. Decatur Location

Tin Drum Asian Kitchen & Boba Tea Bar never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot every single time. The service is amazing—everyone is friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.

And the boba tea? 10/10. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfect texture, perfect sweetness, and so many great options to choose from.
