Waited for over an hour for 4 sushi rolls today. The server was so confused she was just walking around to each person with a bag asking if it was yours. My food ended up being ready for 15 minutes before I got it because the service is that terrible and she didn’t know whose order it was, it was just sitting there! Food was amazing but I was so mad I couldn’t enjoy it. Plus it was $35 for 4 sushi rolls.

We went during the day and the lighting was very low. We initially thought the place was closed. They turned up the lighting once we were seated. The sushi was good and pics are provided. The tea wasn't good at all. The tea was like a blend of tea and coffee. The service was OK. I will probably come back and do takeout.

I'm so glad they open the dine in service again since they closed for a while during covid. Been ordering from them lots of times and everything is fresh and yummy! sushi and sashimi combo and Atlanta rolls are my favorite.

Great food and service. Prepared quickly and extremely fresh. The best Hibachi I’ve had in ATL so far and they gave me a lot of vegetables when I asked for extra. I will definitely be here many more times!

I would love to give more stars bc the service was friendly and quick but I was really disappointed by the quality of the sushi and the clutter in the dining area. I'm glad I ordered cooked sushi instead of raw bc the ingredients weren't fresh. Ingredients in sushi should pop with flavor; I couldn't taste the crab on my dragon roll and my shrimp tempura roll taste like it was cooked in old oil. I spent most of my time drowning both rolls in eel sauce for flavor. The dining area has supply boxes stacked almost to the ceiling like an open supply room, w/o the room, which really kills the ambiance. The restroom is all white and is in serious need of a good scrub down. I wasn't impressed and I won't return but I do wish them the best.

The BEST sushi takeout in Decatur/ N Druid Hills! It’s delicious and reasonably priced too. The staff is also friendly. Check it out if you’re in the area!

TYami Sushi prepared soured bad (?spoiled) sushi. Called them and they stated they were willing to refund and could see my order said it but had to go through Uber Eats. Uber Eats refused to refund bad suishi and cheated me on a 15$ off promo discount. They kept saying order not eligible for any change or refund and to contact credit card. Chase Freedom card reps refused to address it at all referring me back to "merchant." This is a perfect scam with nobody responsible and everyone pointing fingers at everyone else. Im out 50$+ for spoiled food. Do NOT oder through UberEats and perhabs dont bother irdering from here at all. Buyer beware using Uber Eats as you'll have no recourse if anything goes wrong.

Pretty disappointed by the sushi here. Rolls were small, not well rolled, and not particularly flavorful. The miso soup was bad - just unpleasant, salty water... Note to self: skip Yami and pay a little more for something way better just down the street.

We really like this place. It is pickup only (no dine-in option), but the advantage is that it's easy and quick to pick up on those low key nights. There's plenty of parking and a walk up window. The sushi is fresh and tasty. We've probably ordered food from here 3 or 4 times over the last 2 years, and the sushi has been consistently good everything. Sushi is a little bit of a pain if you can't eat gluten because you have to eliminate sushi with crunchy or fried ingredients and anything with crab (it's usually imitation crab which contains wheat). This place has several options that I could eat: Bagel Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Sushi appetizer (several pieces of nigiri), Caterpillar Roll (be careful if you're sensitive because sometimes eel sauce has gluten), Spicy Tuna Roll. The cucumber salad was bigger than usual, and my bf said it was delicious. We had not been here in a while, and we were so excited to try new things that we ordered too much!
