My wife and I ate at the Cupboard cafe today. The food was excellent and the service was great. Our server was Daisy and she was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. It was a great experience.

This is the first review I had to give that was bad review for food. The food was so bad. My mom could not even eat her food. I ordered a BLT for 10.99. No tomato. Then when I was writing down the total for the waitress stood over me. I did not leave tip. And she was shaking her head. I just walked off cause the food was not worth paying for. But we did. The waitress never come back to the table and ask was our food ok or ask did we need anything. 0 stars would be what I would give if I could. It was not worth was we got. So sad.

I had heard such great things from a friend but this place, but was sadly disappointed by terrible service (waitress spilled water on the table, reached across us to sop up never even apologized, and pretty much ghosted us after taking the order, quipped "when I get a minute" when we asked for the bill...) and cold food...every bit of it. Even the cheese in the grits and on the eggs wouldn't melt. 0/10 would not recommend.

This place is great! The food is like homemade. We had supper and breakfast. The staff is very attentive. The prices were very reasonable too.
The waitress sat us, took our order did not come back for 25 minutes. We weren't the only ones. Been coming here for over 10 years. Things have gone downhill. The food was good though.

Great menu selections with nice dessert options! We ordered a Wednesday special, chicken & dumplings, & grilled whole trout. Both were outstanding. Nothing was over seasoned. Our sides were greens & steamed squash, my husband loved both, and Lima beans & lyonize potatoes, just okay. But, that could just be my taste as I'm taking meds that mess up food flavors.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning, and it was very good! We had biscuits, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon, and country ham. Everything was tasty, but the scrambled eggs were not seasoned and cooked like an omelet. Our server was okay…very sweet but forgetful. LOL. Forgot part of our food, and we had to finally go up to the counter to ask for it. After eating, we asked for a to-go box, and she never came back, so we just asked for it when we paid. All-in-all, a good little place, and the decor inside is really cute. Very clean, as well.
