I came across a review of this restaurant on social media, and the place immediately caught my attention. The following weekend, my friend and I drove from Atlanta to have lunch there.

The atmosphere initially seemed very promising: a light-colored interior and a very cute souvenir shop attached to the restaurant.

We went into the dining area and chose a table we liked. We ordered drinks right away, but they were brought to us only after 20 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty at 2 p.m. on a Sunday, and our drinks were just ice, sparkling water, and syrup.

The food also took a long time to arrive, especially considering how empty the restaurant was.

We found a hair in our mushroom toast. Thankfully, it was not human — it was short and white, resembling animal hair.

After we finished the appetizers and our main courses were brought out, the server took our dirty cutlery and forgot to bring us clean ones. I had to get up and ask for new utensils myself.

I also ordered a pistachio white chocolate latte, and when I tried it, there was no pistachio flavor at all. We asked for it to be fixed, and when the drink was returned, the flavor was finally there. However, the drink didn't match the photo shown in the menu.

Whenever we needed something, the servers avoided eye contact, and we had to wait until someone eventually came over.

When we left a tip — smaller than we usually give because the service completely ruined our experience — the server behaved rudely, raised her voice, and said, “This is my TIPPPP????”

I honestly don't understand what we were expected to leave a larger tip for.

Overall, the restaurant has a very misleading image. It is disappointing that we wasted our time dealing with rude and indifferent service.

Lunch was absolutely amazing I couldn't decide what i wanted so I order the Asian salad and mushroom ravioli both delicious. I went shopping afterwards and jessica helped me pick out some fabulous pieces. She understood my style and truly made the whole experience worth while. Her attention to detail is out of this world, not only did she help me but she included my daughter (10) which says so much. We visit once a year and already cant wait to get back.

The food was overpriced. I had the chicken salad sandwich. The bread was stale and like a crouton. There was minimal chicken salad.
The service and drinks were great.

This place is amazing! The grounds are gorgeous and there is so much to do. Crochet court, ping pong, corn hole, charming cottages, and the restaurant is five star dining and extrairdinary service. We had Martha who was phenomenal and she rolled out the red carpet in superior service and hospitality. Martha is superb and you never have to ask for anything.

Emanuel was on point in customer service and ensuring guests were satisfied. The giftshop has quality merchandise and is stocked with style for any age.group.

Julep Farms Restaurant, gifts hope, grounds, cottages and warm hospitality welcoming all visitors and guests. Thank you for making this place first class and so special. We will be back! 🥰

Absolute amazing experience! The food was so good! The fried chicken, shrimp and grits and chicken salad with what we had ordered. We licked our plates clean. And the service was perfect. Sarah Margaret was amazing ! The drinks were to die for. Great place to walk around after your meal with beautiful scenery.
I highly recommend this place. They have cottages. They have events as well that everyone can enjoy. If you are traveling to the Highlands, I recommend stopping.

Food was horrid. Coffee was not good. Service slow. Unfortunate because price was very high for what we received. Over priced but under quality! Atmosphere was great though!

Julep Farms has to be a first on your checklist. This modern Farm Resort Is an absolute dream in the Fall!! From the amazing staff, to the beautiful 22 acres of farm life, Highland cows, mini horses, chicken coop, a market, and a great boutique with the most trendiest clothes. Their restaurant has the best food and drinks and the cottages are perfectly decorated with a different theme to suit your style. 10/10 recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Very tasty salmon, my son enjoyed the short rib. Friendly prompt service!
Unfortunately both of the girls with me who ordered chicken were unhappy with their meal. One commented “2 wings and a thigh for this price is ridiculous”.

This is a beautiful restaurant and beautiful setting outdoor seating is comfortable. My son and I had the smash burger, which was OK. The burger itself actually the meat was a little dry, not juicy. The toppings in the bread were good. Also, the chicken salad was a little smoky but good.

Wonderful service, great food, and location. It was perfect for our family and Business retreat. After dinner lounging next to the silo taking in the scenery was just perfect.
