Night and day difference in every aspect from our experience at another local restaurant yesterday morning. The waitress was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Our food arrived promptly hot out of the kitchen. Everything that we expected before beginning the shirt drive to Highlands for the day. We will be back!

I have loved this restaurant for 5 years now. Ever since the Hispanic owners took over, the rating went down tremendously and it has been awful. The food is always wrong or cold and the language barrier makes it hard for them to understand. Today I called at 10:45 to order breakfast. I got there at 11:30 and they told me they were out of biscuits and they haven’t started on my food. I said I don’t want the 2 sandwich’s because I don’t want toast but I’ll take my breakfast plate with the toast. They gave us the sandwiches then once I said I don’t want these I only want the plate and I’ll get a refund for the biscuits since yall are out. They refused and argued with us to the bitter end about it saying we wanted toast. We never wanted toast besides on the plate and she was saying I was wrong and the manager was just as bad. Will argue with you till you leave and refuse to make it right. After about 10 minutes of yelling back and fourth after they’ve already been given back the sandwiches, I finally got a refund. As I was leaving I made sure to say “you might want to work on your 87 heath score” and she said “I’ll remember your face”. This was the most unprofessional encounter I’ve had and they made it seem like it was all my fault, just because they couldn’t understand what I was saying. Never going back. I would recommend never going unless they get new owners. Very sad.

Waitress was more interested in doing all her other jobs than waiting on my wife and me.

When I paid she took the card was gone a long time and finally someone else brought me my card after trying to give it to the table behind me.

My grandson and I really enjoyed the hamburgers. We had the choice of ordering off the menu or eating from the all-you-can-eat bar.
Our waitress was very upbeat and friendly.
The vintage photographs lining the walls were interesting and added to the overall experience.

We go by the drive- thru one day each week for breakfast & order the same food items . Food is usually right & good but the owner, Maria ( I think is her name ) is very rude. We questioned why the prices change every week for the same items -sometimes lower, sometimes higher - just up & down - we have been going here for a very long time & TWICE we have questioned her out of all this time. Today, she blasted out to us when I asked her why the price was changed from last week & when the girl who took the order quoted me the price we paid last week . She said we were rude . We had been coming there a long time & she used to appreciate our business- but all we do is complain EVERY time we come by & she no longer wants us to come by. Well, she is getting her wish. The food is decent- but just be aware your charge could be different each time - particularly if you are a creature of habit as we are and order the same menu items. That’s when you will really notice the issue. Just a heads up- we will not be back , because she was so rude and hateful today. It’s not worth it just for the convenience - we can tolerate a little inconvenience & get just as good food or better at other places & not be treated so poorly. And oh, they have also had a “B” rating for quite some time now - another reason not to go back .
