My experience at captain D's was a good experience. Food was quick to serve. The only criticism was the atmosphere was dull. No other customers , place was empty like a ghost town. Unfortunate as they Food is fairly priced.

This is by far the worst captain d’s I’ve ever ate at. The food is TERRIBLE. I ate here yesterday and the broccoli was chewy, the fries were cold, and the fish was extremely greasy. I was the only customer there so this tells me that this food had probably been sitting there for awhile because fresh food is going to be warm/hot. I got home with my food and still tried to eat it because I spent over $16 on my order. Huge REGRET, I’ve been up since 1:30am with the worst nausea! It’s sad that this captain d’s has one of the best locations in Douglas for a restaurant to be and this is the type of food served. This place needs to shut down or some better management needs to come in to teach the employees the proper way to cook/prepare the food.

We stopped by Captain D's to grab some dinner before heading 15 miles away to home. We ordered the 10 piece family meal with fries and green beans. When we arrived at home, we couldn't wait to get inside to fix our plates. Let me tell you...it was amazing!
Even after traveling 15 miles away, the fries, fish fillets, and hush puppies were hot and crispy. Hats off to the crew working on October 15th around 6pm in Douglas, GA.

About 3 months ago I had a terrible experience with C D’s. Waited in the drive thru line for almost an hour, had already had to order substitutes and when I finally got to the window, I was told yet another item was unavailable!!! Took me this long to try again! SOOO tried this Saturday at 4:00 pm. Went inside to order the flounder meal. Everything was absolutely delicious: vegetables (cooked perfectly) were separated so their juices didn’t touch the southern fried flounder, which was not greasy, but tender and wonderful! I really enjoyed this meal so much!!! I will be back!!!

This place was delicious ! Friends pickle didn't taste like pickles until the next day. Hush puppies were super soft when you took a bite. The corn on the cob is just corn. My favorite was the catfish sandwich. I added a little more sauce to it. It was amazing!!!!! The seasoning was perfect! It was cooked perfectly also. Fried just right! My daughter loved the shrimp! She just likes it plain with butter. Everyone was so nice and friendly!

Why should we have to pay extra for the other sides when you have none of the “free” sides available? Very disappointed in this

I went with my family to eat there the lady finally came from the back went to drive thru walked right past us standing waiting to order took their order and walked right past us and went to the back so we left. They need to get someone in there that will take people's orders and they weren't anybody even in there but I want be back??

I went to the drive thru in Douglas, Ga and it took 45 minutes. They didn’t tell us they didn’t have any crab until pickup. The fish was so greasy that I couldn’t eat it. I have a Marketing Degree and word of mouth goes a long way. Where was their Manager. This is very bad for their franchise. You need the close the doors, yours loosing business.
I went to this capt d's and they were just opening, so my food is very fresh. I met Mrs. Brenda and she is a delight even with just leaving the hospital last night and opening up the store today (against dr. Orders mind you). She made sure I had everything I needed and even upsold me on the funnel cake Stix. The store was very clean the food was delicious and when I'm in the area I'm definitely going to stop by.
I ate here last night and tonight and enjoyed my service both nights... Thanks

Won't be back until I hear that management has changed, maybe even the owner. This used to be a "go-to" place for lunch, but not anymore. Waited in line for 20 minutes today, slaw taste sour, shrimp taste old (as if it had been in the freezer for months), and the "hot" fish looked as if it had laid in the batter for months, which also taste old. Just terrible. Change management or ownership now, it's not the staff's fault.

Suppose to open at 10:30. We sat in the drive through at 10:40 with no answer. We asked if they were open? They said give them 10 minutes. Orrrrrr crazy idea.... open on time and not have employees hanging outside.
