I went to Harper’s cafe for breakfast Tuesday morning, let me tell you the breakfast was so good I had to call back and let them know.. Everything was good.. who is ever cooking keep on cooking.. my food was seasoned just right, I will be back.

Hubby & I like to go to mom & pop restaurants. Was in Douglas for a mini vacation and decided to stop here based on reviews. Wouldn't come back. We got the lunch buffet and didn't eat 3/4ths of it. The chicken was okay although really salty, everything else not so much. If you like pale green, way overcooked, mushy broccoli you'll love this place. Mac & cheese was overcooked as well and could barely taste the cheese. Cold rolls. I asked for Pepsi and got extremely sweet tea. To sweet to drink. I took it back to camp and had to water it down by more than half. (Yes, I know they like sweet tea in the South, but this was ridiculously sweet.) For the price it could have been great. Sadly the food let them down. Would not recommend.
