⚠️I hope no one expects to enjoy their meals- these folks openly admit that the won’t wear gloves when making your pizzas and etc. I am truly emboldened to alert the Health Department because they have become utterly sickening! Between the unsanitary cooking/storing practices, the rude cashiers, entitled managers, and incompetent drivers… you’re better off Going DiGorno than Howie Himself. But to each their own…🤷🏾♂️⚠️

Honestly? My order is never right, they won’t fix it, I’ve tried several times to talk to them about the issues, but they can do no wrong. The never forget to charge me extra for the fixings, but always seem to neglect said fixings. They DO NOT wear gloves except with the salad bar, according to the cashier I’d asked (because why are you texting people and immediately grabbing toppings w/o washing or AT LEAST wearing gloves. They have just overall went down the toilet, starting with the remodel and removal of buffet. That’s not JUST the fatahh in me. Like someone stop me from going back because I KEEP HOPING that by leaving a review, the service/product/establishment will improve to its former glory when it clearly won’t! Quality food, outstanding customer service, and unbeatable hospitality is DEAD at Hungry Howie’s of Douglas.😭😭

My Family has been coming to this establishment for 3-5 years now. The food reminds us of home in Florida. But this “atmosphere” sucked. They had 3 managers running the show and none of them knew what they were doing, I heard the sentence “that person messed up” 4 times in the matter of 20min of me waiting for our food. Not to mention co worker infront of my family said he was going to hit another co worker. No single employee at this establishment has said thank for or please or anything positive to anyone. Honestly whoever owns this place should scrap managers and start over. I hate this place honestly. If I didn’t love the pizza. I’d never come back

Went to douglas stopped in at hungry howies for a bite to eat .. normally it's my favorite place to eat today not so much .. my husband got a salad it wasn't that good there was more lettuce then anything else I'm talking just a couple pieces of chicken not even big enough to cut in pieces .. I had a sub and it wasn't that good it was dry and not very filling .. to top it off it didn't come with the sub sauce that costs extra .. I hate leaving reviews like this but when it's tour favorite pizza place and you live 45 plus mins away so you only get to eat there once in a while it was really disappointing...

Honestly, one of my favorite pizza places in Douglas they have the best pepperoni and bacon pizza. Just wish they would go back to doing the buffet used to see the parking lot for all the time and now it’s always empty because they took away the buffet that everybody in Douglas loved.
For the second time I’ve ordered 2Xs the honey drizzle with buttered crust, and also for the 2nd time, my food was dry and lacked honey drizzle at all. But they never forget to charge you an arm and leg for basically “condiments” and almost cut my gums on a clearly dried crust. Boo! I am completely disappointed, and borderline pissed in their performance lately. Hungry Howie’s is NOT what it used to be, and I’ve complained and complained, nothing gets done, environment not kid-friendly anymore, just all-around a disappointment now. Likely discouraging any and everyone from supporting this place in its current capacity. Won’t be ordering until changes are made or compensations are given for the utter “playing on my top”. BOO TOMATO TOMATO!!!
