Stopped in today for the first time and couldn’t decide which cupcake sounded best— I ended up with key lime, wedding cake, and pound cake. I must say, they were the best cupcakes I have ever eaten! I can’t wait to try the others! AMAZING!

I ordered a sophisticated vanilla cake with chocolate icing for my daughter’s 13th birthday. I was told the price would be $55, I received a basic cake with what looks like a pile of poop in the middle for $25 that I could have gotten cheaper from the Walmart deli.
I ordered a Red Velvet Cake from Pearl's in Douglas last Monday for a Friday pickup for a weekend Birthday Party Cake and it was Delicious! This was my first order from them and had heard great things about their cakes/cupcakes and gave them a shot. I usually order my Red Velvet Cakes from Holts (which are good, but have been hit or miss), but this time wanted to try Pearl's. Let me just say the cake was a Big Hit! Everyone raved how delicious the cake was. One of my nieces even asked everyone to rate the cake 1 out of 10 and nearly everyone said 10 except my nephew who said, definitely an 11, LOL. The icing was superb and the cake part was moist as well with multiple layers (4 layers I believe). At $38 for the cake it wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and it was worth the money. They recommended the cake needed to be kept refrigerated until 1 hour before eating it and that is what we did. I also purchased one of their Oreo Cupcakes while I was there to pick up the cake and it was delicious too. I highly recommend Pearl, A Cottage Makery and will definitely be back.

AMAZING!!!!! Birthday cake, cookies and cupcakes were absolutely perfect. Got a call before order was started to go over details …one last time…. I was quite surprised…couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience . Definitely love what they do and it shows in the finished product!!! Everything is beautiful and absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!
