Spent almost $50 bucks on ONE steak ? (Filet Mignon) and ordered it *RARE* (!!!) this past Saturday evening. Well, after returning home with my order … I sadly found out my steak was medium-to-medium well [and this over cooking caused my steak to be tough & chewy ? with very little natural flavor]. So, I called the restaurant back immediately and they wanted me to return the ENTIRE order … and then they would replace my over-cooked filet mignon. I’m like REALLY ??♂️ (???) — it had been raining most of the weekend and I honestly didn’t want to go back out (especially since the college football game I really wanted to watch was now on TV). One of the employees said the owner’s wife (or some sort of owner) would call as soon as she got back to the restaurant, since I DID NOT want to go back to the restaurant— but NO luck … & NO return phone call either!!! I’m very disappointed with this whole deal — (and when you pay almost $50 bucks for ONE meal … the least the restaurant can do is cook it right…the FIRST time)!!! This is sooooo UNLIKE every other experience I’ve had eating at the Fern Bank Grille …. they are usually on-point and generally have the BEST steaks in Douglas, GA …. just NOT this time, for me that night + the completely TERRIBLE customer service—I mean WOW, like it’s really MY FAULT y’all screwed-up on my steak … well, that’s exactly how they made me feel anyways!!!!!

Ordered a Rare filet mignon steak but received a medium well- well done steak which was very tough. Salad with no tomato—only had green peppers, red onion and croutons—nothing I would have put on my salad. Baked potato was delicious. Contacted manager who advised to bring back everything and they would recook the order. Once I explained my situation the manager knew me from eating there so often and said she would contact owner. Never got a phone call back. $45 for a meal that was wasted. I always order the same food and never had an issue before. Pretty sorry that you do not stand on the quality of your food!

Hade the Delmonico house special. One of the best pieces of steak ever. I’m a ribeye girl and i absolutely loved the flavor throughout due to the even marbling. And Caren at the bar was superb.

Food was real good. Steak, burgers, dolphin and appetizers were very good. Our waitress was very nice, made up for the rude hostess. We were unaware a reservation was required and damn if she didn’t let us know that. I’m older so I can say, she was an older woman, maybe tired, a lil cranky. She could have handled a lil better, been a lil nicer. She showed us to our table, never said another word to us. Again, the waitress was super nice and all ended enjoyable! A rude hostess almost ruined my first visit.

Wheelchair accessibility: None, I’m disabled, use a cane to assist and this hostess walked us up a flight of stairs. Didn’t ask us, didn’t care. And, yes she saw I walked with assistance.

There was eight of us guys that came down to hunt ducks in Pearson Georgia. We asked some local friends for a great place to grab a steak. They told us about the Fern Bank Grill. I’ll have to say it was excellent. Our group said it was one of the best steaks ever had !!They cooked our Steak over fire absolutely delicious highly recommend to anyone looking for some really good food and great service. Everything was so good. We went two nights in a row!PsErin was phenomenal

I entered in, and she said, "How many just me so she shares sit at rhe bar didn't have an issue with that at all. I went to have a set at the bar, and then she said no, no, sit right here, so I she brings all the way to the end of the bar,
Top that off, they had a couple to come in she sat them at a small table right at the end of the bar. so I cudnt even turn the bar stool around and then watch my elbow before hitting the guy in the head just ridiculous. I will not sit at another bar if I can't sit where I want to sit, so I only had one drink and shrimp jammers order my food to go... order the pork loins tough love the grill taste but tough, mix veggies wasn't seasoned that was my second time going... wasn't happy at all.
