I had family visiting for a wedding so we met here for dinner one evening- all 12 of us. Restaurant was very clean and our waitress was very nice, made no mistakes with our orders and the food was wonderful! The only complaint i could make is the portions were a little small for the prices. Overall was a great dinner & I will probably return.

The restaurant was spotless, including entrance doors and restrooms. . Service was great. My wife had a taco salad and I had New Mexico shrimp quesadillas. They were both excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. They won’t disappoint you.!

I ordered the coconut shrimp with mango salsa/ tostones. It was the best gourmet meal l have ever experienced in a Mexican restaurant! My compliments to the chef!

Absolutely disgusting. Do NOT eat here. We went to El Rey Cantina expecting tacos, and what they served us was an insult to food: a stale shell stuffed with old lettuce, cheap dairy cheese, and flavorless minced meat. No onions, no cilantro, no salsaânothing. Just sad, tasteless slop.
When we complained, the woman working there told us the menu âincludes Mexican food too,â but the menu was completely unclearâTex-Mex and actual Mexican dishes were all mixed together. How is anyone supposed to know whatâs what? When we pointed this out, she shrugged and said, â99% of our clients are white people, so we donât separate it.â That was not only offensive, but also completely falseâmany restaurants do separate Tex-Mex from authentic Mexican food, and it should be obvious to anyone who cares about their customers.
On top of that, she was rude, dismissive, and arrogant. Instead of listening, she doubled down, basically saying she doesnât care about clients like us.
And the food? The meat tasted like absolutely nothingâjust salty mush with no flavor at all. The lettuce was old and disgusting, the cheese looked and tasted cheap, and even just looking at the plate you could tell it was going to be horrible. Nothing about it was appetizing.

We were at a meeting and we had dinner. This service was good. The mango Margarita was excellent and the food was average. I did ask for no added salt. And it was extremely salty but overall. Everyone else said they had a nice meal mail

We stopped by here just to try it out. My wife got a fajita taco salad and I got the El Rey fajitas. Both were very good. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The restaurant was also very clean. It was nice the music wasnât too loud either like other Mexican Restaurants Iâve been to. We will be coming back.
