Fun space. Good drink prices

Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn’t like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good.

-okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt.

-Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter.

-Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved the BBQ taste. General flour tortilla shell but at least it’s toasted. Would’ve liked the option of fresh corn shell but I understand this is a bar. Was about to order more food, but I already ate. Prices are good all around: pool tables, games, nice chill vibe with some outdoor rooftop seating. Entertainment on some nights. For the overall experience, it’s pretty close to a five star if not already five star to you. If someone gives it a four star, it is the kind of four star that with improvements could easily be a five star, and this could be quite the regular hangout spot for some. Adequate parking on the street and in the rear.

Ima regular on Tuesdays and I am sooo disappointed to say that the bartender Toya just always rude and/disrespectful to patrons on her shifts. Well today was the final straw for us APA/BCA members come to enjoy our time here (feels like family) I finally spoke up saying “it’s no need for profanity and sarcastic remarks when we are legit trying to figure out the table” so as we just choose to leave and go somewhere else, I stop to report this cus THIS ISNT CHAIRS!! It’s ENOUGH hearing ppl complain or give confusing looks after she just walks away saying whatever is flowing at the moment. I personally LOVE CHAIRS AND HAVE BEEN A REGULAR FOR YEARS and I mean YEARS so I really hope this makes it to management or owner cus not gonna lie. There has been vibe changes on her shifts
Her exact words throwing her hands up walking up “well if yall can’t figure the shit out I’ll just take them.”
And last week I stepped outside on the balcony and she came over to my pool partner asking “who’s table” and he said “Cali’s, she stepped outside” her: “well she should’ve stayed in here with them”
“Let me say outside this post, it’s 5 stars across the board, the rest of the staff(including kitchen/bussers) are a vibe, so please still give chairs a try if u haven’t.

It's bar food. It's not bad. But the people are extremely nice and it's very chill and laid-back atmosphere

A 20% tip is included in the final bill and the result is very poor service since the waiters and bar tenders do not need to work hard to earn good tips!!!

Used to go here waaaay back when it was the corner tavern but just started frequenting again since discovering they have live music Sunday evenings. Though it's a jazz jam, the band plays a great variety with some of the drop ins. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. Brisket nachos were my go to but I discovered their salads and roasted brussel sprouts recently ? so there's something for everybody. Cocktails are appropriately strong for a late night spot, bartenders and servers are friendly plus free parking and great entertainment. The crowd varies so you'll see a little bit of everything and feel comfortable hanging out.

I am totally addicted to Chairs. It has awesome food, fun games, a cool balcony to hang out on and lots of character. But the real gem is Dré Antoine's open Jazz jam on Sunday evenings. Excellent players come every Sunday to sign up and jam. If you play or sing, Dré will Group you with some of the most tasteful musicians in Atlanta and you can jam. If you like to listen, you will get a top tier free show. I go every week.

I've only been once, but loved this cozy spot. What struck me the most was how warm & friendly everyone was without anything feeling overdone. I was only there for a short while but got to catch the tail end of a Sunday night jam session with amazing musicians and talented guests. Will definitely go back soon.

Sunday Jam sessions are a blast! Come for a unique experience in Atlanta. Staff is very friendly. Great wings!
