Hey hey hey

Waste of my time. I called in an order almost an hour ago for my man. He wanted fried chicken cabbage and Mac. They said okay. I drive all the way from Dunwoody to pick his order up and they outta cabbage outta Mac and then asking me how many pieces of chicken I wanted so obviously the fried chicken wasn’t ready. We always support black business but the person in the front didn’t care about none of that. Waste of time.

I literally had a order of sides that went most lengthy (over hour)until the order canceled. The second order was also long to prepare for veggie sides only and has yet to be completed via Uber eats. I do not have high ratings at all as of this moment considering no restaurants have had such a complicated

I saw a review and it was so new and positive I decided to support the small, Black owned business. I've visited twice. The first time, I stopped here and got the lunch special with the meats they offered for that day; I got a Turkey wing and two sides. I got dressing with gravy and macaroni and cheese. The Mac n cheese was a little under seasoned, but for $9, it was a good price for lunch. The second time I visited was only a few days later I told my husband about my first experience and he wanted to try too. The issue happened at this visit I called in my order they said it would be 20 minutes. We both had protein in two sides. He had the red snapper, macaroni cheese, okra, fried, and greens. The first time they didn't have fried okra so we made sure they had it this time they had it, but then they didn't have another side so we had to get it some type of beans. The issue was when I picked up my food. 30 minutes later I still had to wait for another 15 to 20 minutes for my order. When I asked about it the lady who took my order over the phone let me know they could have forgot about the fried okra That couldn't have been it. While waiting to customers, add into it about a crying baby baby was in there crying the entire time this establishment is a restaurant in a corner store. The baby wanted to candy and it became an issue me and another guess found found ourselves in the middle of their fight. One try to include me in another customer we ignored it I would say I'll be back because the prices are great abs the food is decent , but I don't know. They shouldn't have taken this long in Park and situation is very very very tight and the people on the back balcony may need to put some certain things away when there's customers are. Other than that eat up Southside ATLiens, these prices are low !

The baked chicken was tasteless served over some bland hard rice, baby servings of veggies, the jerk chicken just hot for no reason, not spicy tasty just bland hot,I bought to dishes, what a waste of money ed up giving it to the dogs, the 2 scoops of yams was ok,mac and cheese no taste

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Debbie's Soul Food , a hidden gem of a soul food restaurant located in East Point, Georgia. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the unmistakable aroma of delicious home-cooked meals. This place isn't big nor is it fancy so dining in or having large groups isn't ideal. However, outside of soul food this place is also a mini mart so not only can you get food but you can also get essentials, snacks and a few groceries too.One of the highlights of here is their irresistible lunch special, priced at just $7.99. This incredible deal offers a hearty meal comprising a meat and two sides, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a satisfying and affordable lunch option. I couldn't resist ordering the fried pork chop as my meat, accompanied by macaroni and cheese and rice and gravy as my sides. They typically have all of the food pre made and placed out for you to choose between. However, for the pork chops it took a few minutes to get cooked and prepared. Let's start with the star of the plate--the fried pork chop. It was perfection on a plate. The chop was perfectly seasoned, boasting a crispy golden-brown coating that gave way to juicy, tender meat. Every bite was bursting with flavor and brought back memories of Sunday dinners at my grandmother's house. The combination of spices used in the breading was spot-on, making it an absolute delight to savor. The macaroni and cheese was a comforting and indulgent side that complemented the pork chop perfectly. The creamy, cheesy goodness of the mac and cheese was like a warm hug for my taste buds. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the cheese sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess. It was evident that the mac and cheese had been crafted with love and attention to detail. The rice and gravy rounded out the meal with its savory and satisfying presence. The gravy wasn't seasoned as i would have liked but salt and pepper is available plus its to go, so you can fix it to your liking once you're settled. In addition to the food, I must commend the friendly and attentive staff at Debbie's Soul Food. The service was exceptional, with the servers going out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall charm, making it a welcoming spot to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.If you're in the East Point area and craving soul food that will warm your heart and fill your belly, I wholeheartedly recommend Soulful Delights. Their lunch special, priced at $7.99, offers incredible value with a meat and two sides that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Be sure to try their fried pork chop with macaroni and cheese and rice and gravy--truly a soulful feast that will leave you longing for more.

So we stopped in just walking around and oh my what a hidden gem did we come upon. Family owned, real southern cooking, great customer service with a nice patio to eat out on and the prices are very reasonable. My family and I have been eating here a week straight SERIOUSLY! This place was amazing! The pig feet was flavorful. The customer service was great. It’s family owned and I loved that the family was there being supportive. They have hand wipes and sanitizer packets for when you’re done. My honey got the fried chicken, butter beans and Mac n cheese. It was stellar. There’s also outside seating. Highly recommend this place for your soul food fix!Parking: Small parking lot…maybe 7 cars for those who are claustrophobic
