I love the food I have been there 2 times to dine in and 1 time for take out. My last time. When my daughter called in her order it was 25 minutes before we would pick up the food. Because it is hard to get in the restaurant, my daughter stayed in the car. I was given a ticket before my food was prepared. I saw an item for Fees and Services and asked about it. I was told that it was gratuity, it was over $10. They would not even cook my food until I paid the ticket. To add insult to injury they wanted another tip that was indicated on the credit card machine. I try to patronize my black people businesses because they need our support. But when they get a business they get greedy which makes it hard for black people to support them. I have noticed a trend with some black restaurants with the same tip method and it is discouraging. I understand charging for dine in but a pick up order? The tip is 18%, I may want to paid another percentage. If they keep this up they will not be in East Point for very long.

I wish I could leave a review on the food, but the service was so terrible that my guest and I had to leave before even ordering. My friend arrived before me and seated herself since no one greeted her upon arrival. She had to go to the bar to order a coffee with Bailey’s because no staff acknowledged her. When I arrived, there was a male bartender—presumably the one who made her drink—and a female waitress. The waitress was on her phone, rolling silverware, and never once came over to greet us or inform us that a server would be with us. I had to stop the waitress to ask if we could place an order, and instead of assisting us, she rolled her eyes, pointed to the bar, and said, “Your server will be right with you.” We waited another five minutes, but no one ever came to take our order. While I understand that the bartender had a semi-full bar, I don’t understand why the waitress didn’t step in to demonstrate teamwork and ensure we were taken care of.

Small but spaced out inside. A live place that is pretty busy.
The cocktails are solid, very tasty.
I loved the catfish and grits.

This place has a good vibe. The decor is fabulous and makes you feel good. However, the service is lackluster. You will wait on every single thing you want or need. I'm not talking about a reasonable wait. I'm talking extensive waiting. And it wasn't that busy!
I really like biscuits, but these aren't it. It looks so flavorful but not really a solid taste to it. Just tasted like regular old flour & water mixed. No spices/seasoning. A few things we ordered weren't available. It all looked good, but the taste factor was absent. My daughter literally took 1 bite, asked for a to-go container and promptly threw it away once we walked out. Wow. She's a bigger foodie than my husband and I so if she didn't like it, damn!
Oh the Hennessey wings was just regular old sauce. If Hennessey was in it, we didn't taste not even a hint of it.

OOOOHHHH!!!! This place is awesome!!! There's a hidden gem in Atlanta. There's a small bar. It's not a very large place, but it's very elegant inside. The staff are absolutely amazing. Everyone works very well around each other. I highly recommend that you make a reservation. It can get full really fast. Now the good part. The food is so damn good, that my wife and I were eating off of each other's plates. If you like friendly people, and great attitudes, you will definitely love this place.

Parking: There's a small parking area around the corner, but there is a large parking lot down the street.

I went there for my first time last Friday for a morning meeting. I returned yesterday for another business meeting and it was definitely a great spot to eat, meet, and to just wind down. I had the Blueberry Lemon Waffles and I was actually frustrated when I finished because they were so good. What I mean is that I simply wanted more but I knew that I couldn't eat that many waffles and not have to pay for it in the gym this week. Prices were not bad, and the food was delicious
