I’ve been supporting black owned business for Black History Month and been wanting to give this place a try. The young employees were very friendly and professional but I was disappointed that they didn’t have the majority of cupcake flavors available and I was pretty much forced to choose 2 flavors that I didn’t necessarily care for but I still wanted to support and spend money there. That was a little off putting not to have fresh cupcakes ready to go at 2pm on Monday. It’s not like I walked in before closing. All in all the cupcakes were just ok but I won’t go out of my way to come back. Cool coffee house vibes though if you need somewhere to chill and study.

I have purchased cupcakes from Kupcakerie several times, in all different flavors and for all different groups of people. I ALWAYS receive raving reviews for the cupcakes from everyone. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors, and even the vegan, gluten-free cupcakes are delicious as well. I think the Strawberry Blonde (vegan and GF), Jazzy Jane and Churro are my top favorites!

I purchased 2 vegan cupcakes. One oreo and one that’s supposed to be strawberry. The Oreo one was decent. However, I paid full price for a cupcake said to be strawberry from what appears to be a bad batch. It was sunk in & under baked in the middle, crispy and crunchy around the perimeters. The cake itself tasted like cornbread and there was so no strawberry flavor in it or the pink icing.
I understand trying to save but that batch should have been marked down to $1.50 instead of being a $4 cupcake. I’m a baker myself.

First off the vegan cupcakes are just okay and they’re not worth coming here and putting up with rude workers and
outrageous prices. However the fact that these cupcakes cost more than the non vegan ones is such a backwards concept.
Then there’s an Asian man that works here and he’s so rude every time I come. Idk why he’s working in a predominantly black area if he’s going to be so rude.
I was asked if the strawberry vegan cupcake was in stock today and he responds “we always have it” as if he is some kind of robot that works daily… I let him know that I’ve come twice and was told it’s out of stock. He then told me the vegan Ingredients cost more after I asked about the price. I didn’t ask ask him why, I just asked him to repeat the price because he said it as he was walking away.
This place never has to worry about me again! I will find another bakery that has vegan cupcakes, this is Atlanta!

The fact that you all even responded to this the way you all did… I will never eat here again. I’ve been vegan for more than a decade. I don’t need anyone to explain anything about the prices or the ingredients… again, I didn’t ask for an explanation! I’m sure if you all wanted to make the prices more affordable you all would because I’m not the only one saying this in my review.

Furthermore if he’s going to work in a predominantly black area maybe he should undergo racial sensitivity training because in my experience he’s was extremely rude and this isn’t the first time, but it will be the last!

I was picking up pizza at Oz when I saw this cute little shop and decided to go in. I just picked two cupcakes and ordered them. They were delicious but the reason why I can’t get five stars is because of customer service. The person only asked if could help me, but he didn’t ask if I had been there before. I felt very rushed. I clearly never been there before and I felt rushed so I can’t say I won’t be back. I’ll try again, but let’s just say I didn’t have the best first impression, but the cupcakes are great.

Love this place! My wife and I visited the cheesecake place in the back parking lot and greeted with hostility so we came here instead. The people were beyond kind and welcoming. It is the perfect environment to relax, grab a bite, socialize, and even read a good book. Do not go that hole in the wall if you want good service. Come here! Kupcakerie for me every time from here on out. Also the holiday cupcakes are very moist and innovative. Love love love.

I come here often and while i want to rate it higher I can not. The coffee and seasonal rotating options are really food and the staff tends to be friendly. However they never have any of the breakfast biscuits available. I have yet to try one because everytime I order it, I am told there arent any today. Just take them off the menu if you dont make them anymore. To make matters worse I opted for a croissant today and it was hard as a rock. Stale pastries. Seems like cupcakes are the primary focus here. Sitting area is small and wifi is inconsistent so dont plan to stay here for any work purposes. Really enjoy the book selection though.

If we want cupcakes for any sort of party, this is our go-to. They never disappoint. This location is a bit far away from us, but still, it was worth every mile. Gorgeous cupcakes that taste great!

Do not use this place if you are planing an event. If you want to run in and grab a cupcake. Try your luck. But if you’re ordering for a memorable event. Call it a loss because they will screw you. They will screw your memories. The owner here is the worst person. He speaks to customers like they owe him something. Very rude guy this place won’t last

Visited this establishment while on vacation in late July. They were so delicious that we came back the day we were leaving & bought another dozen for the drive back to OKC. The cashier was so kind, the cupcakes were moist & variety of flavors were ANAZING...when we come back to Atlanta, we will be back!

The process to place custom cake orders definitely needs improvement. Went inside to place it they direct you to the website to send email then received a response to fill out a form then the emails went back and forth for 6 days due to them only responding once a day at 8pm. Very frustrating and terrible customer experience. But I will say the cake tasted amazing.
