Happened to see this place while passing by headed to Walmart. Here with family from out of town. Did a quick u-turn and circled back. So glad we did! The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Excellent experience! Made my dad get himself a hat he'd been eyeing since we stepped foot in the door.

This place was different from Texas BBQ. I highly recommend the stew it's different from chunky style stew but is amazing 👏 🤩. Oh by the way the BBQ sauce is a vinegar style sauce but is good.
I’ve eaten here so many time I couldn’t count over the years and I’m past years always a 5 Star However, some changes have been made I believe but the past 4 time I’ve been the stew is terrible. It tasteless and is really watery. It’s such a shame. The table around us was all saying the same thing.
Ribs are delicious, kinda stingy, but good. The Chicken could use a little more sauce but otherwise phenomenal as is that wonderful BBQ pork ?. The brisket is a nice addition to a great menu.
They need to return Rebecca to the window, she's great. Just finished a pound of ribs, stew, and slaw. May be back tomorrow for supper ?
My family and I eat here regularly, and our order is always correct, and the food is awesome! The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant because they have the best barbecue around.
Been a while since we last had BBQ Shack. The food did not disapoint. Thier Pork is unique in that they use a very lean cut but it's still tender, juicy and flavorful. Had the brisket as well which is not as good as TX brisket, but was still excellent.
The reason for my poor rating was the drive thru wait. It was busy and the line was long, but I watched as people parked, went in for takeout, and came out before the drive thru line even moved. They either need to speed up the drive thru or stop takeout orders in the restaurant. It was painfully long.

The only time I come to Toccoa to see Zack Rushing company show. I always leave early enough to eat your food and service. The sweet tea.
The food is always the best. Never disappointed with the food. Drove an hour just to go get the food. Yes that's how good it is.
