We ordered a chicken lo mein and a small shrimp bowl. The “lo mein” were pretty obviously spaghetti noodles. Weird, but okay. So, I gave it a shot. I took a few bites, and pretty quickly noticed something wasn’t right. I look over, and my fiancé is poking her shrimp and says it smells a little off would I mind checking, too. Sure enough; rotten fish smell bad enough to make me gag. We immediately threw everything away and left. That would have been the end of it had I not missed a days work and was very nearly hospitalized with food poisoning. This place absolutely needs to be checked out by the health inspectors.

My first time staying in Eastman and Japanese was recommended by the lady working desk at the motel. I ordered the hibachi chicken and shrimp along with miso soup. The chicken was very good. The shrimp were a little plain. Not bad, but we're just some cooked shrimp thrown on top. Miso soup was just a cloudy broth with a few small pieces on tofu and something green. It's not horrible, but even at a cheap price, it should have been more. Staff were friendly and very personable.

I ordered a whole plate of sesame chicken. When I got home, I realized that the sesame chicken was way overcooked and it was like chewing on rubber trying to eat them.
