I have had barbecue literally coast to coast and border to border. Was in the area and decided to stop in and try these folks. When I pulled up, I left out my window and asked the lady getting out of her car. Was the barbecue here any good? Her response was, I own it so I hope so lol.
Was a little worried at first because it was takeout only. Was traveling back to Warner robins when I decided to try a rib and the barbecue sandwich that I just bought, turned around in the middle...
Shugs is a local gem,and when I say gem I mean one of my top 5 BBQ establishments. There is not a time of day you go by there aren’t a minimum of 3 cars at all times in the drive-thru. Their pulled pork,ribs,steaks, and stew are hard to beat. A lot of flavor in the sauce and quality meat portions. The service is always great as well. They are always on point with your order and very nice.
Been in Eastman a few years and just tried this place last week. The lady said you’ll be back and she was right, we had bbq last week got steak and ribs tonight. The best I have had in a long time, thank you for the great food !!!
