The only thing I do not like is how they put butterbeans, carrots, and corn in their rice.
No other Mexican restaurant does this.

There was a great atmosphere and high-quality food available. I would highly recommend this location to those in the area searching for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Cannot say enough good things about the staff and venue! We used their private room for an event and the service was incredible, as was the food and space! Erica and Connor rock!!

I first went there 6 years ago and love going back for their cheese dip with steak chicken and shrimp! That alone is worth the trip!

The last two times we have been here have been terrible. The service has been horrible - barely saw the server and had to flag them down for refills. We waited an excessive amount of time for the food, and it was cold and bland. Very disappointed.

Delicious and authentic. The pork tacos were packed with flavor, the salsa had the perfect kick, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff was super friendly, and the service was fast. Best Mexican in Greensboro/Eatononton area in my opinion!

Used to love this place when we were local and visited weekly, but we came back for a visit while in town, and I just can't give it 5 stars anymore. We were placed in a back room that was freezing cold and had zero windows or ambience. We placed our orders and waited over an hour for our food with an increasingly hungry toddler. When the food finally came we didn't even get a quick apology or any recognition of how long we waited. The food is still very good, but it's a shame the service and ambience has declined. We will go elsewhere next time we're in town.

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I got the el combination dinner to get a sample of everything. Enchilada, burrito, tamale chili relleno and a hard shell taco with rice and beans. It was all covered in red sauce, that was indeed red but was most certainly not Spanish. It was spaghetti sauce and the combination was disgusting. I took a bite of each and threw the rest away. The taco which looked pretty good tasted like it had old re-hydrated beef used with very little seasoning. Also quite awful and to boot the salsa was very watery and bland so I could not rinse the flavor from my mouth.

Stops serving customers 1hr before closing, if they stopped serving 30 minutes prior that would be understandable but a full hour before close seems excessive. Food portions have also gotten smaller than they used to be but pricing went up. Although the food is good you’re paying more money for less. Example- quesadillas used to be in a quesadilla size tortilla but now come in the “Taco” size (reminder prices have increased although food portions have decreased)

Had a delivery there earlier today and a gentleman held the door for me. They had a sense of urgency without making ME feel rushed. Every staff had a welcoming smile on their face. And the manager hooked me up with chicken tacos and a drink, which is a rarity in today’s time!!! She was a very nice lady and it made my day.

Relatively new here in the Lake Oconee area, but delicious food. Our waitress was Kimberly and she was kind, prompt, and smart. Overall great experience!

Took my father(who was from out of town for the holidays) to dinner after recommending this place cause I known it for since it was opened since 2012, took 15+ minutes to get drinks, only got one of our two appetizers. My daughter and my husband got their meals after we finished our first appetizer and drinks. Had to flag our waiter down just to get refills, informed him about the missing cheese dip. Never got it still when my and my father’s dinner came out.

(Mind all this also this place was not packed either. Which I have seen it be popping and NEVER have service like we had.)

Spoke to a different waiter that we wanted to speak to someone, so our waiter came out and again stated we wanted to speak to someone about the service. The owner came out, she was very friendly and we told her the situation about the service.

All we wanted was the dip and my father’s meal(he didn’t eat it due to him being disgusted by the service) taken off and she comp the whole bill. As much as we appreciate that, she did suggest us to come back between 9 to 5 for lunch to which we did as soon as we walked in they told us they were closed early at 3.

And as long as I’ve been coming to this restaurant, I will not be returning back to this restaurant, and none of my family is either, and I will inform my friends as well.
