The food was good. The spring roll were delicious 😋. My husband had never been, so we went. We received our check and we gave payment and our waitress came back and said your card didn't work, do you have another one. My husband and I were dumbfounded because she basically told everyone in the restaurant. I called our bank and it was the restaurants card reader error. Embarrassed to say the least. We won't be going back.

Party of three enjoyed our early evening at the Silver Moon. The 8 oz. Filet I ordered was tender and delicious and cooked perfectly for me. On this visit, our table was in a cozy corner near the fireplace, so the dining atmosphere was wonderful. We've always enjoyed the great food and service on every visit to the Silver Moon.

Silver Moon has been a great little "hidden gem" since it's inception! I've been fortunate enough to live on Lake Oconee my entire life. My parents used to tell stories of driving me in their Jeep through the troughs of what is now Lake Oconee...so when I say I was born & bred here, it's really true! That being said, I've known every restaurant that's been in business here...and The Silver Moon is a tried and true staple of our beautiful area! There isn't one item on the menu that's "better" than the otgers...they are ALL delicious! And this isn't mouth service...there's a reason they've been in business for so long: the food is scrumptious!! Literally, everything is awesome! And there's a reason they don't have a big sign out front advertising their name...they don't need to. It is well worth the little hunt to find it (in plain sight!)

Hi everyone!I visited this place as a tourist from Montreal, and I have good things to say! I came with my two American friends who are locals to the area and we had a great night!We ordered the whipped feta, philly cheesesteak spring rolls and a cheese dip that I forget the name of, as starters.The whipped feta was amazing and the chips that came with it, although greasy, were also good! The philly cheesesteak rolls were also greasy, but super tasty. I felt it kind of odd that they had philly cheesesteak spring rolls, but they pleasantly surprised me! The cheese dip was also super great and came with the same chips as the whipped feta. To be clear, it wasn't beer cheese dips, which seems to be popular in the area, but a yellow colored one with beans and other garnishings. For a main, I ordered the NY strip steak, medium-well, with green beans and a fully loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I missed my MTL steak spice at this point but they still made an amazing steak. The green beans were the skinny kind and came with butter; very delicious. The loaded baked potato came with cheese, bacon bits, sour cream and chives. The bacon was real chunks and the sour cream was fresh!All in all, I'll definitely be revisiting this place when I come back and I look forward to it! If you're visiting the area, be sure to visit The Silver Moon!

Not a fan. My biggest problem is the owner refuses to substitute sides. So be aware before you go. I won't be back.

We have never had a bad meal here. Always good food. Go early. 4 PM or be prepared to wait. Put your name and number in your party on the chalkboard. It is a little loud at times as there is little to no soundproofing. Food is great. Service is great. This is Lake Oconee's 4+ star restaurant. There is No sign out front of the building. As I remember is is between Agee Lawn & Garden & the Sherwin Williams Paint store. They have some specials and a regular printed menu. Casual dress is fine. Lake rules apply.
