Nice little place, they make their own dough. We missed the pizza buffet, but we got a meatball sub combo and a piggy sticks combo. They made a really nice sandwich with a lot of meatballs, and seems to be their own baked bread. The piggy sticks was cheesy breadsticks with bacon. The brownies were only 1.50 so we got one too.

When it comes to Detroit-style pizza , the options are slim. When it comes to good Detroit style pizza ( outside Michigan or high priced boutique pizzerias ) the list is even shorter . Papa’s Pizza To Go belongs right up at the top of that list . I ordered online , and the ordering process was easy , and allowed almost infinite customization, so much that I was able to order my square pan pizza with triple pepperoni and triple cheese . Upon arrival I received a warm greeting and engaged in friendly banter with the awesome staff . They even took the time to make sure my pizza was how I wanted it because I’m the first person to order triple cheese ! It was perfect , btw . The crust was crisp to bite into and then chewy , like a good Detroit style pizza should be , with that awesome caramelized cheese around the outside . The pepperoni was ample and browned crisp adding dimensions of flavor . The guy at the counter ( owner ? ) was telling me they make their dough and sauce fresh daily and it shows . I’m a bit of a pizza snob , and I’ve been mulling over trying this place for quite a while … today I just took the plunge . Boy am I glad I did . The experience was seamless end to end , great pizza , great prices , great people . Highly recommended.

our pizza was not cooked enough. when I picked up a slice of pizza it was like trying to pick up a dish rag. I will not go back to this place to eat

My First Time Eatting Here And The Food Was Delicious !!!!!!
This constantly happens, show up when their own website and google says they are open, 6pm and no one answers the phone or is there anyone there when they say there are open. After no reply after calling many times, took the time to drive there and order in person. No one there! Why have business hours if you aren't going to honor them. Or have a voicemail that says the real hours so that if google is wrong about the hours, people don’t waste their time and money driving there. Correct your hours on your website and google, misleading to long time customers.

Very rude lady answering the phone on Wednesday evening June 12. Hung up on me 3 times claiming she couldn’t hear me even though the connection was perfect and she even said my order back to me. 2nd time I have had a problem with the service at Papa’s and there won’t be a 3rd even though the food is really good I ain’t eating there again ?

I'm working out of town for a few days n didn't want fastfood pizza so I found this place excellent service food n the people working there absolutely nice if I'm working in this area again I'll be back for sure

For the second weekend in a row the employees won’t answer the phone after calling multiple times and it’s not like they would be that busy for that long so maybe they need to get some new people
