definitely skip over this popeyes if you want some! they’re always out of something, and definitely don’t doordash it. i was missing most of my order and ALL the food was cold. DO NOT go to this popeyes if you want some.

Received completely burnt chicken and didn't realize it until I got all the way home. No way to communicate with this place. Grease burnt/old needed to be changed, chicken burnt and how the hell do you burn beans? Employees in there arguing because someone two cars ahead of bright their food back. That should have been my sign to get a refund then. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!

Avoid this Popeyes at all cost. If you’re in the mood for Popeyes, go to a different one I recommend the one in Stockbridge. This Anvil Block location is always out of chicken. Today I ordered a chicken strip box and the lady said we’re out of chicken strips. It’s 5:00 PM and they do not have any chicken strips and their issue is they always blame their lack of food on not getting a food truck. I’ve been to this place several times and it’s always out because of the truck not showing up. This is a continuing problem in our community. This Popeyes needs to be closed or put under new management. I will NEVER come here again.

UPDATE 11/14/2025

I visited the Popeyes on Anvil Block in Ellenwood Ga. I went through the drive in and ordered spicy. They didn't have any ready and said it would be ready in 4 minutes. They told me to pull over by the dumpster and my order would be out shortly. 25 minutes went by and cars in line were getting their orders. I pulled around by the drive in, blew my horn asking had They forgot me. They had. First the drive thru person said here. Mind you there were cars at the window. Then she said someone will bring it out. This is my 2nd time going through this. Don't have a paying customer wait and then forget about them. This is very concerning. The time I visited was 3:45 11/14/2025. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH COOPERATE.

2/13/2022 Update $6 box chicken was nasty. The chicken had a smell to it. Old and rotten. I threw it out.🤮🤮🤮🤮 One star for the guy (red hair) taking my order. He was very nice and professional.

Wish i could give this Popeyes a -5. Slow in drive thru, Out of the special, ghost pepper wings, chicken sandwiches.... it's like this all the time
You ask for spicy, they give you mild. Biscuits hard. Unbelievable!!!!!@

They always run out of everything. They never have what you want. Tonight they only had one fryer so you had to wait 20 + minutes for your food unless you ordered something else. This store sucks the soda machine is nasty and sticky. They come in smelling like weed the cashier customer service sucks 10/10 will not recommend. I'll rather eat that fake meat from Wendy's.

The absolute worst Popeyes location i have been to!!! Damn I wish I would have read the comments!! My chicken was burned! There’s a bunch of kids that work there not doing their job playing around. Idk what the manager was back there doing but it wasn’t making sure the food was cooked right. Then the girl at the drive thru gave me the expeditor receipt so I couldn’t add in my rewards! I will never return to this location! I’m calling the location right now and the phone line is busy! The number on the receipt is disconnected! Smh

I want to start off by saying I rarely leave reviews!! As soon as I pulled up, the person on the speaker was rude. I’m not quite sure why someone would have an attitude at 11 in the morning, but I digress. When I get to the window, she’s even ruder. I ask for a receipt. No receipt was given. Was then asked to pull forward. I then waited 10-15 minutes for my food. At the speaker, I politely asked for sauce. Ask me if I got sauce….no. No I didn’t get my sauce. Usually I wouldn’t be mad, but when you spend $13 on half ass service and food, you’d be pissed too.

Distasteful to be on texting on the phone while trying to place orders. Seriously? How unprofessional.
The heavy-set lady who was at the register, on 11/3 at 1:27 PM needs training, because apparently common customer service sense is lost. Please re-train staff to put the phone away while dealing with customers, AT WORK. That notification or text message will still be there after work. 🙄
